Re: January Transfer Window 2015
Time for my normal prediction.
Outs:
Schwarzer FREE
Salah LOAN
Mikel 5m
In:
Blackman/Beeney FREE
Khedira 15m
Thorgan Hazard LOAN RETURN
Kramaric 8m
That is, of course, unless we have a lot of money to spend, then we should go after a top winger, such as Reus or Cuadrado.

Re: January Transfer Window 2015
City are allegedly looking to sign Miranda from Atleti (left out of the squad for their game vs Levante yesterday as well) to fix their defensive problems as well as likely a striker (Bony is one of the ones mentioned). Meanwhile we're buying up another 21-year-old nobody and shipping him on loan to Vitesse. Could be the difference come May.

Completely forgot about Kramaric
Honestly think we should be after Khedira. At the very least.

Re: January Transfer Window 2015
He doesn't look likely to leave Real this month. If anything, it'll be on a free in the summer. Our real problem is the we have to play Oscar and Hazard (and Willian, to an extent) in every game because their back-ups are so woeful. Schurrle's "cold" must be the longest one in modern medical history and Salah is just a useless lump of irrelevance. Also doesn't help that we've a striker who netted 14 in the league last season but can't get a game from the manager to save his life.

Re: January Transfer Window 2015
I know what you're saying. But if we put in a decent offer for Khedira, Real would have to accept, or risk losing him for free.
I would also like to see a new AM, but I don't think we'll get one.

Re: January Transfer Window 2015
I do believe we need a Matic-equse signing if we want to win the EPL season, someone to come in and change the direction of our season, without playing in the other comps.
Even if they cost 30m.

Re: January Transfer Window 2015
So do I.
But I think we would be better off doing so.
Imagine signing Reus, how the dressing room would pick up and how our preferences would pick up with that kind of signing. I think it'd be like Ozil's first few months at Arsenal.
I doubt we'd get Reus for 30m, but you get the picture.

I wonder if Schurrle will be available over the summer.Even Willian is being preferred over him.Doesnt look like he's getting much game time by the looks of it,is he ?

With the position they're in, not a chance they sell him mid-season. And barring him, I can't see who else fits the bill for that kind of signing who'd be available in January.

Yep, Schwarzer is gone. Thanks for everything, Mark!
Also, apparently we're signing Nicolas Tié.

Re: January Transfer Window 2015
http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/01/final-whistle-verdict--fundamental-changes.htmlBefore he spoke to the media about the game, however, Mourinho wanted to pay tribute to Mark Schwarzer, who he revealed will be leaving Stamford Bridge to join Leicester City.
‘I want to publicly thank Mark Schwarzer because he’s leaving us and he was a fantastic guy for us,’ said Mourinho. ‘As a goalkeeper, when we needed him he was there for us, and as a person and a professional he was an amazing guy in our group. On behalf of myself, my staff and my players I want to say we are going to miss the big guy and we wish him all the best in his new life at Leicester.’
He added Schwarzer’s departure would allow Jamal Blackman to return to the club
‘We’ll bring Jamal Blackman back from Middlesbrough, he was on loan there but he wasn’t playing so for them it’s not a problem. For us, he’s a young, English goalkeeper and he can go to the Champions League squad list as an Under-21. He can work with Courtois and Cech so for him it’s a good experience.’
From the official website. It's definitely happening.

Andrej Kramaric is ready to start the next chapter of his career in England. The Croatian striker will eventually join Mourinho at Chelsea, but his first stop will be at Leicester City Football Club. There are bureaucratic reason tied to the rules in England that make it necessary for Kramaric to go to Leicester City first, but the deal has been reached. Today the 23 year old striker will be in London with his agent Cavaliere: he'll sign with Leicester City by Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, his medical is scheduled tomorrow. Leicester City will acquire Chelsea in collaboration with Chelsea: the two clubs already have an agreement for the future transfer of Kramaric to the Blues.

Chelsea after Richards for free?
Kramaric bid hit a snag?
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/05/chelsea-micah-richards-free-move-summer-manchester-cityChelsea are considering whether to offer a contract to former England defender Micah Richards, with the 26-year-old believed to be open returning to the Premier League after spending this season on loan at Fiorentina.
Richards, whose contract at Manchester City expires in June and is now free to sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs overseas, has already been offered a long term deal by Fiorentina having turned down two contract extensions to stay at the Etihad Stadium in the past.
But after trying to sign him in his previous spell as Chelsea manager and again for Real Madrid in 2012, José Mourinho is now keeping a watchful eye on the situation in case he decides to bolster his defence for next season.
Roberto Mancini, the Internazionale coach who managed Richards at City, is also believed to be interested in Richards as he fits into the 4-3-1-2 system that the Italian is moulding for his new team.
With Glen Johnson expected to leave Anfield this summer, Liverpool could be tempted to replace him with the player who remains the youngest defender ever to play for England.
A product of Manchester City’s youth academy, Richards was a regular in Mancini’s title-winning side in 2011-12 but subsequently fell behind Pablo Zabaleta in the pecking order. He decided to move to Serie A on loan in a bid to play regularly despite being offered an improved contract by City.
Kramaric bid hit a snag?

HNK Rijeka striker Kramaric wanted to sign for Chelsea and had agreed personal terms but did not want to spend his time on loan elsewhere next season.
Leicester are now exploring the possibility of offering extra bonus payments to entice Kramaric to them.
The player has traveled to London on Monday and is in discussions with both clubs. Chelsea had initially outlined an £8 million deal that would see the player loaned to Leicester for the rest of the season

Bordeaux interested in loaning Chelsea's Chalobah
http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/386887.html?CMP=OTC-RSSChelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah could be set for a loan switch to French side Bordeaux, sources have told ESPN.
Chalobah returned to Chelsea last week after an unproductive loan spell at Burnley in the first half of the season and he is set to be farmed out again this month.
He made just four appearances for the Clarets, failing to start a single Premier League game, and won't have benefited much from his time at Turf Moor.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of Chalobah and is keen to send the 20-year-old somewhere he will get regular first-team action.
Chalobah, who has yet to make his first-team debut for Chelsea, was sent on loan at Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough last season but had a mixed campaign, having enjoyed a successful spell at Watford and helping them to the second tier's play-off final the previous season.
A number of Premier League and Championship sides are thought to have enquired about Chalobah, but Bordeuax are hoping to take the midfielder to Ligue 1.
Bordeaux coach Willy Sagnol has been looking at the English transfer market as they battle to get back into European contention, and have already expressed an interest in signing Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo on loan. Chalobah is also thought to be on his wanted list.

Chelsea flop Mohamed Salah wanted at QPR.
Leicester City agree potential £10m club-record deal with HNK Rijeka for Andrej Kramaric
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2900376/Chelsea-flop-Mohamed-Salah-wanted-QPR-loan-deal-s-bad-news-Manchester-United-Borussia-Dortmund-hell-bent-keeping-Mats-Hummels.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitterQueens Park Rangers are hoping to take Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah on loan until the end of the season.
Much depends on their budget though with QPR struggling to finance deals following the arrival of Mauro Zarate from West Ham.
The 22-year-old Salah has made just the 13 Premier League appearances since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Basle a year ago and has also attracted interest from Sunderland, West Brom and Inter Milan.
Leicester City agree potential £10m club-record deal with HNK Rijeka for Andrej Kramaric
http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-waiting-work-permit-agreeing-deal/story-25819015-detail/story.htmlLeicester City have agreed a deal to sign HNK Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric.
Rijeka have announced that the Croatia international has signed a three-and-a-half year contract with City.
City have agreed the deal with the club and the player, but the Mercury understands the deal is still not completed and is subject to work permits and the completion of various legal paperwork.
Kramaric passed his medical at City on Tuesday with the finishing touches to the deal finalised today.
Once completed, Kramaric’s move could see him become City’s new club-record signing with the package deal potentially rising to nearly £10million with add-ons and bonuses.
City look to have beaten Premier League title-chasers Chelsea to the signature of the highly-rated striker, who has scored 28 goals in 30 appearances for club and country this season.
“Now officially we can say that the club has completed the transfer of Andrej Kramaric to Leicester City,” said Rijeka assistant sporting director Ivan Vance, who accompanied the 23-year-old to Leicester to agree the deal.
“We are glad that the whole job was completed to mutual satisfaction and thanks to all who participated and helped to realise the biggest transfer in the club’s history.”
Kramaric looks set to become City’s second signing of the January window following the arrival of Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
Chelsea were understood to be keen to sign Kramaric but refused to go higher than the £8m offer they submitted to Rijeka.
There were reports that Chelsea wished to sign Kramaric and loan him straight to Leicester but Premier League rules state club’s are unable to loan players out to a fellow Premier League side in the same transfer window.
City manager Nigel Pearson is likely to look to add further attacking options to his squad in the battle for Premier League survival.
The club are understood to be in discussions with Toronto striker Jermain Defoe over a potential move and are also confident of signing Wigan midfielder Shaun Maloney.
City are believed to have had one bid of nearly £1m rejected for the Scotland international but have stepped up their efforts to bring him to the King Power Stadium.
