Re: Roberto Firmino
WhoScored ratings
Payet: 7.71
Firmino: 7.25
I guess that settles it since WhoScored is the GL bible.

I don't care who is doing better than who but I'm well happy with how firmino is playing now. he had a poor start but the lad has now started to perform.

Re: Roberto Firmino
Prolific goalscorer turned football pundit Thierry Henry has claimed that Liverpool's Roberto Firmino has what it takes to become The Red's star man, stating that he could emulate Luis Suarez's success at Anfield.
well Henry following my wisdom there
“I will give him the benefit of the doubt because he has just arrived and he needs to settle,
“Things changed during the season and it isn’t always easy. He is starting to show some signs that he can be that guy.
“Is he Luis Suarez? At the moment, he isn’t Suarez. But he might be in the future.
“Is he the guy who is going to make Liverpool win a title? I don’t know.
“He is doing extremely well. If he can build a partnership with Philippe Coutinho, who knows?”
Firmino has now scored eight times in the Premier League this season, also managing to get seven assists over 19 games.

Andrew Beasley @BassTunedToRed
Minutes Per PL Goal or Assist (Min 10,no pens):
Agüero 100
Özil 102
Mahrez 104
Firmino, Lukaku 105
That includes his crap form and injury to start the season. Firmino you beaut.

Re: Roberto Firmino
.@Roberto_Firmino has a combined 61 goals/assists in his last 90 league starts. #lfc
Not bad considering Brenton was ostracizing him (playing him out of position / not at all).

Re: Roberto Firmino
He's such an enjoyable player to watch, makes me smile with his antics and the random funny shit he does on the field.
Have people noticed his "im going to take my shirt off and get booked....nah im not" celebration every time?
(Except when he actually did that against Arsenal 15 mins in lol wtf was that ). Probably the funniest guy in the dressing room at Liverpool as well. But he needs to stop missing sitters and laughing them off all the time imo
He's is easily main reason why keep blowing these big teams away.

seems like Klopp knew it already. And he keeps mentioning him as a striker and he is performing brilliantly in that SS or striker role.

They are playing like crap, and Payet still has better stats than Firmino in the all mighty Liverpool.
After of course being comfortably better last season.

Struggling with injuries and bad form, which doesn't mean Firmino is all of a sudden better than Payet.

Re: Roberto Firmino
Payet needs to show he's still interested to give his all for West Ham, though. He's turned from a catalyst to a luxury player in one summer. An awful start to the season from him, regardless of West Ham's team form.

Re: Roberto Firmino
Eh? Payet has been the only one doing anything lol.
It's not his fault the entire team has been a mess, he's the only one creating chances for them to score.
Blaming him for West Ham's form is utterly ridiculous.

Payet has 4 assists and 1 goal in his last 5 apps. He is hardly to be blamed for West Ham's form

He's put in a few crosses in matches West Ham have lost 4 - 2 and scored a free-kick against Accrington. He's done his luxury bit. The thing is, when he was playing for France in the summer, he was so active, getting on the ball all the time, running, passing, shooting, creating. He was like a kid in a candy store. Now he's back at West Ham and he's only coming alive a few times in a match. I watched until 2 - 0 against Soton yesterday and Payet was just walking about. Last season's Payet was looking to grab games by the neck, this season's Payet looks happy to wait for the ball to drop for him, do a little something and then go back to walking about. He's simply playing awful right now and a few assists from crosses doesn't change that.
