Watch Interstellar, would imagine it's easier to avoid Nightcrawler spoilers

Someone tell me again how Nolan didn't have any effect on MoS.. Amazing how someone without influence on the movie had veto rights

I know, but someone said that anything Nolan has influence on was good, but then the person disliked MoS, which I called out

TDK series was a completely different project. Plus it was run by Nolan. It was never going to fail.
DC is trying to create a cinematic universe just like MArvel has done with their MCU. At the moment they've only had Man of Steel out for that. We'll see how it pans out.
El Gunner wrote:Think Nolan was only producer as well.
Man of Steel, with all that crazy destruction at the end hahahaha, nah didn't do it for me. That wasn't off of Nolan's mind for sure.
It was McAgger mostly, ElGunner... I just didn't remember that well. But you sure did say something that way.
MoS was off of Nolan's mind

Nvm, co-writer he was then, doesn't mean that shit at the end was his idea.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Why not? That destruction is what would've happened in real life, if this were to happen (don't understand the destruction hate tbh). The destruction happened because Zod hated humans, and knew their destruction is Superman's biggest weakness. So he took the fight into the city. If anything this is a big indication of it coming from the mind of Nolan. If not, he atleast supervised the script and approved it.

It's not about the city being destructed, it's how it got destructed.

Explain how it should have worked out then, I'm just curious. If you have the power of Superman, how could it have worked out in another way?

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Totally over the top destruction. I felt the director wanted to put too much emphasise on this "Metropolis destruction", looking past more reasonable and smartly-shot sequences for this scene.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
I see how that might have put some people off. But I still feel like they put on a massive destruction because of realism, and because it was their way of setting up the universe, by having some destruction to set up a conflict in the upcoming movies. I think it'll make more sense after BvS, and then the popularity of movie will increase by then. Fully understand why people don't like it though, not for everyone. Still love it.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
I went to see Man Of Steel with too high expectations. I was expecting Batman Begins level of good. Looking back, I liked the movie but did not love it. I certainly don't hate it like most people here do. I actually think Thor 2 was better and the best superhero movie of 2013/flameshieldon. It was better than Iron Man 3 though.

I thought Thor 2 was like a filler episode in a soap opera.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Thor 2 was enjoyable but nothing special.
Cap 1, Thor 1, Thor 2, IM2, IM3 I enjoyed around a similar level. They were nothing special but decent flicks.
Winter Soldier, IM, Avengers, and GOTG are the the goat though
Incredible Hulk was pretty garbage.

Iron Man 3 was a piss box tbh.. Nothing about that movie was good. Took one my favourite villain and wiped a shit filled ass with it.
I didn't love Man of Steel at first, had to high expectation. But seen it like 3 times since it was in Theaters, and now I kind of love it.

Miles Teller is going to continue his hot streak in indies
Director is Marc Webb (TASM) whose last indie was 500 days of summer.

Can't wait for this ffs, Miles Teller is one of my favourite actors out there, can't wait to see him in Whiplash

I've seen a lot of people saying Whiplash in the best movie of the year. Can't wait to see it either. I really like Miles as an actor, still don't see him as Mr Fantastic though. Btw Freeza, did you watch Foxcatcher?

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
ffs anyone seen John Wick? probably one of the best action movies out there in the last decade. The plot is lol worthy; goes on a rampage because mobs killed his dog. But fkkk me the action is GOAT.
Im not bias when it comes to movies/tv shows, i watch every genre doesnt matter if its romcom or action. If you want to shut down your brain, relax and enjoy a simple plot, non stop action movie then you would really enjoy this movie
8/10. fun, fast pace, non stop action and enjoyable. some awesome action sequences aswell

He's not pretty enough for you? I trust him as fantastic though, that group has too much talent (including the director) for it to fail.
Foxcatcher doesn't come out here until february or something smh...

Everyone who has seen it is saying this is one of the best action movies in recent history. Glad to see Keanu make a GOAT action movie again. Now watch Hollywood make this a series and milk it for all it's worth. coughtakencoughnoidonthaveebolajustacold
