Juve VS Sassuolo
Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed Arturo Vidal will not be in the squad for the Bianconeri’s trip to Sassuolo.
The Chilean midfielder played two 90-minute games while on international duty, and only arrived back in Turin yesterday.
“Vidal will not be in the squad,” Allegri has told today’s pre-match Press conference.
“He was late back yesterday, but it wasn’t his fault. He came in and trained with the squad.
“Vidal has played two 90 minute games - and I don’t think the Chilean Coach played Vidal when he wasn’t fit, he played two 90 minute games because he was in good condition.
“So, let’s get rid of any controversy or potential controversy.
“However, having looked at the data Vidal isn’t in as good a condition as the rest of the team.
“Given that he only came back yesterday, having just played two games and we have an important game in Athens on Wednesday [against Olympiakos], I’d prefer him to do three days of work here, so he will stay here in Turin.”
===
Lol.. it is inevitable to create controversies. Now that he isn't even picked indicates something.

Juventus have named a 19-man squad to face Sassuolo, minus a few injured names and midfielder Arturo Vidal.
Andrea Barzagli, Luca Marrone and Martin Caceres are all unavaiable through injury, whilst Alvaro Morata is suspended following his red card against Roma in Week 6.
Meanwhile, Vidal is absent from the squad, which Coach Max Allegri confirmed with reasons in today’s Press conference.

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
19:19 - ATTACKING AND TEVEZ LLORENTE - Juventus, in the afternoon, she trained at Vinovo in view of tomorrow's race. Against Sassuolo, in front of Buffon will move Ogbonna, Bonucci and Chiellini. In midfield Marchisio could rest in view of the Champions League and in its place there may be Pereyra. Along with the number 37 Pirlo and Juventus should play Pogba; Lichtsteiner on the wings will move to the right and left Evra. In fact, the French seems to prevail on Asamoah for a jersey holder. In the attack alongside Tevez will be Llorente.
18:37 - MARCHISIO MAY REST - Juventus travel to Reggio Emilia. Massimiliano Allegri will deploy the 3-5-2: Buffon in goal space. In defense they will move Ogbonna, Bonucci and Chiellini. In midfield, it's up to Lichtsteiner on the right; Marchisio could stand in the middle and in its place, according to Sky Sports, there should be Pereyra who would act with Pirlo and Pogba; on the left there will be Evra. In the attack will be confirmed Tevez and Llorente. For the trip to Reggio Emilia has not been convened Simone Pepe suffered a small muscle fatigue.
Juventus (3-5-2): Buffon; Ogbonna, Bonucci, Chiellini; Lichtsteiner, Pereyra, Pirlo, Pogba, Evra; Tevez, Llorente.

When will we see Coman again?

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
14:52 - THE JUVENTUS IS RESTING - Juventus is resting in view of the challenge tonight. The Bianconeri in the late afternoon, will carry out the technical meeting and then leave for the stadium. Against Sassuolo in defense and in attack there will be no changes from the game against Roma. In midfield, however, there should be two new products, the first may be Pereyra would take the place of Marchisio, the second is that Evra will replace Asamoah. In Reggio Emilia there Vidal who is working to find the best form also missing the injured Brown, Barzagli, Caceres, Romulo Morata and Pepe as well as disqualified.

Yep, it looks like he will actually rotate the midfield

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
Pogba should've finished that, would've had his second nice goal in the game. Good save on Tevez's volley. Llorente imo needs to be subbed, I feel like he slows down the play sometimes, even though he's a good aerial threat. Pereyra really needs to work on his finishing lol.

Full marks to allegri for having balls and changing the system up and making the attacking substitutions to try and win the game! Pirlo and Llorente though awful tonight!

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
We were doing well in the first half, less in the second though.
One of the most annoying things that Banti was afraid to make calls after a full week of media & Roma rant combined.. And the fouls made our players more and more frustrated resulting in deconcentration in the last 20 minutes. Not saying he had any bad calls or anything (apart from one or two handballs), but he let the dirty play flow usually.
The reason we didn't win though is that most of our players looked like shadows today. Pereyra's finishing was really disappointing (he did make a few great runs still), Llorente, Evra and most of the match, Lichsteiner were invisible.
Pirlo had probably one of his worst matches in the last few years. Constantly giving away balls, slow in defense and attack, no meaningful passes
Coman looked like Giovinco 2.0 today (and yeah, that's negative), trying so hard but achieving nothing productive. Only if he had a full match..

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
I still believe Coman is a good player and has a lot of potential. I think Morata should stat over Llorente from now on. I also think we need to bring back Zaza and maybe if we need to, sell Lorente. I hope Llorente regains his form though

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
Of course no need to ring alarm bells. We can't win every game and regardless of what any one says this game would have played on Allegri mind as it was the loss to sassuollo that lost him his Milan job. I really Liked ogbonna tonight, was definitely our best defender. I think Morata and Pereyra are going to be the real break out players for us. Coman needs to be loaned out for a season to a lesser team find out what he is about though.

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
An applause to Sassuolo tbh.. They played well, and they kind of reminded me of that strong Atletico Madrid defense which we could not pass. Good goal pogba, keep it up. Good match but we could do better of course. I'm happy to see Allegri switching to plan B and putting in Coman and seba in for Pirlo. Pirlo was a ghost today. Hopefuly we can slash Olympiacos! Although this draw is bitter, FINO ALLA FINE!

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
We were bound to drop points soon, at least we beat Roma for H2H advantage plus the obvious points gained. And we're still top and still undefeated so it's ok.
Llorente... man he can't even do the simple things right. Not good enough for us this season, very bad
Pirlo is one of my favourite players of all time but he's no longer a starter in my eyes
Pogba was fantastic for the most part, Ogbonna is finally improving and Pereyra has most of his game sorted. Just needs to improve his final product now and he's good to go.

Re: Juve VS Sassuolo
Luciano Moggi claims Roma are returning to a “pre-Calciopoli tactic: tell referees it’s best to go against Juventus to avoid criticism.”
The former director general was the main figure in the 2006 Calciopoli scandal, which saw Juve demoted to Serie B and stripped of two Scudetti.
He is now a pundit and wrote for newspaper Libero after the latest controversy over Juve’s 3-2 win against Roma.
“Morgan De Sanctis added to Francesco Totti’s remarks on Juve-Roma, so not even President Pallotta’s appeal for calm was heeded.
“That makes me think the tactic used in the pre-Calciopoli years is still the right one for them: tell referees in case of doubt it’s best to go against Juventus to avoid criticism. Basically, intimidate them.
“The statistics are at the disposal of anyone who wants to consult them. From 1998 to 2006 the team with the most penalties in favour was Milan with 70, second Roma on 57, Lazio 55, Napoli 54 and together with 53 spot-kicks were Inter and Juventus.
“The penalties against: again Milan on top with 25, followed by Juventus 26, Lazio 30, Inter, Roma and Napoli 39.”
Moggi was caught in intercepted telephone conversations urging the authorities to choose certain referees for specific games and complaining about decisions that had gone against Juventus.
Contrary to popular belief, Juventus were never charged with match-fixing, but only with attempting to influence the refereeing designator and therefore the officials as a whole.

He pretty much summed up what I wanted to say yesterday lol

Shat happens... usually against the crap teams too. Hard to motivate for every week especially after NT break. NT players arrive tired and the weekly training schedule is out the window.
Nothing to worry about imo.
