HT: Chelsea 1-1 Bolton
Wastefulness on our part and efficiency on theirs sees us go into the break on level terms after a debut goal from Kurt Zouma was cancelled out 6 minutes later by their finishing off their first and only opportunity in that half.

FT: Chelsea 2-1 Bolton
The Blues book their place in the next round and we'll find out momentarily whom we'll face in it.

Far closer than it should have been.
Doesn't exactly bode well for hopes that our inefficacy/wastefulness against the smaller sides is behind us.

Would have been nice to see Christensen and Baker instead of Matic and Hazard.

Re: Capital One Cup - Chelsea vs Bolton Wanderers
Last night I started reading the biography of Ray Warren (an Australian Rugby League commentator, the best commentator I've ever listened to in any sport btw) and one of the forewords was written by Alan Jones. In it Alan mentions that he coached Balmain (an NRL side) which reminded me that Alan also coached the wallabies (Australian rugby union nt) but then I wasn't sure if that was right so I looked it up on Wikipedia. While I was on my phone I had another look at GL and saw kicks post about no streams, therefore, it's Alan Jones' fault I missed the game.
Despite doing that Alan Jones is one of Australia's biggest political commentators, I'm pretty sure his breakfast radio show has one of (if not the) biggest audience in Australia

Makes a bit of a mockery of all José's "youth needs chances" and "we want to bring player through" talk.
If he can't play them even as subs against one of the worst sides in the Championship, when can he?
