Not sure what to even say. Has there ever been a league that shot its self in the foot with poor designs/brandings as MLS?..

Why is there so much blank space. Why does that stupid line come out like that?.. The old foot with the ball was much better. And l didn't think it was possible to design a worse one. They should have just kept it.

l guess it looks a little better in the alternate colors. But still, pretty bad.

BTW, I find it somewhat peculiar that they go for different colours to go with the different logos of the clubs. I always thought that branding was about having *one* unified logo and colour...

I don't think it looks that bad, and the color changing to match kits is a brilliant idea imo.. All leagues should do that

Dang. Pretty sure my custom team badges in Pes 2007 look better than this one.

Please at least put some yellow or green on the blank zone.

Or make the lines black or white and put some blue instead. Grey can work well even. Most of all tho. At least put some text or symbol on the blank part. Red stripes maybe?

In it's defense tho, at least it won't look so bad on TV were the background isn't a white color like in these forums. The white will shine better in a different colored environment.

I agree on this at least. I like that each club get's their own version of the logo, which increases their marketability to the fans.

Just wish the logo itself were better. Much better.

Ok, lF MLS actually does stuff like this with team specific logos and art... Then this is amazing...

I believe the team-specific logos are only reduced to the team colors. I don't think they have designs in the blank part, which is unfortunate.

Hopefully, MLS will allow this however and clubs can even market this by reward the fan who submits the best design by using that as their MLS logo.

Many possibilities here if MLS aren't being bull-headed about this logo.
