Scoreline Predictions 2014/15

Here's an idea

How about after this season (or even this season if you want), we add a new rule where if someone else has predicted a certain result, that result cannot be duplicated by anyone else.

For example:

Art "LFC 2-1 Leicester" now no one can predict that scoreline
Mr-r "LFC 3-0 Leicester" and now that's also taken etc
etc
etc

A couple of benefits would be that:

-we might get more correct predictions.

-people that post earlier have some sort of advantage of predicting whatever they wish and people that wait to the end to see the actual team sheets don't get all the benefit of knowing exactly who is playing etc

-players can't game the system (or cheat basically). For example if Heil is leading by 1 point ahead of Hank at the end of the season and only 1 match is left. Hank predicts 2-1 Sterling, and Heil being cunning and German and ruthless he basically copies Hank's prediction and doesn't give Hank a chance to catch him

I guess it would have its benefits, but I think it would be too unfair and even boring to those who are the last ones to predict.

And the leader cannot copy everyone's prediction - or if it's a two-horse race and the leader starts copying the runner-up's predictions, we can impose a rule that the leader isn't allowed to change his first prediction. But I don't think anyone of us is that boring and anal that they'd start doing that... although those Germans, hmm...

tbh not really feeling so excited as before when I came here to predict the score, may it is because of Stivie news and that draw in the last game, I hope some young players bring some excitement to the game.
