They invited pressure in the second half and 3-0 was certainly a bit inflated but that they are capable of winning 3-0 despite that sums them up. Their pitch is also in a shit state. I'm expecting dropped points after the intl. break.

They didn't leave their half for major spells of the second half in particular. Just were lucky they faced Llorente and not MSN.

First goal was a complete mess that shouldn't happen, second a deflection and third a one in a season wonder. You don't get this lucky often.

Surprised Immobile wasn't even in the subs. That guy looked great against us. Gameiro isn't nothing special, I thought they would of had the Ukrainiane guy and Vitolo on the wings with Immobile starting/playing behind Llorente or Llorente off the bench. Llorente is so damn slow

Also, Oliver is a bullet off the wings. Great move on them to let slow ass, old, and injury prone Turan go to have him play there instead. Adds a new dimension. Imagine the speed they will have when Vietto, Oliver, Corriera and Greaseman are playing together.

Why do people still start Fernando Torres? He hasn't been worth a damn since 2010. Not even kidding, lol. He can still pull something good here and there, but no way he should be starting

Yes, at the time I did suggest Rodgers as a possible replacement.
Thought it would be a calculated gamble. I did like the way he played in that season they almost won the league. But then, over the next year he didnt build on that and play a consistent style. Kept changing too much and after 3 years, his team still didnt have an identity and style of play.
Maybe its just bad luck. Lost Suarez and Sturridge and didnt have a striker all season. Maybe he was carried by Suarez.

Oliver? You mean Oliver Torres? Fast? I think he is a flop and never considered him fast.

I am quite surprised at the difference he has made to the team is such a short time. It is a credit to the players efforts and his teaching methods.

Watched Stoke vs City yesterday. Very impressed by Stoke's performance. They played some wonderful football. All 4 of Shaqiri, Bojan,Afellay and Arnautovic played well. Bojan in particular was outstanding even though he didnt score. Got a well deserved standing ovation when he was subbed.
It is a shame how his career turned out. The talent is still there. With better management and luck, he could have been a great player for us.

I think the rumors of him going to City are about as legit as a rumor can get. He has ties with some of the staff (they were at Barca when he was there), plus they can pay him stupid money.

I however, would love to see him go to Arsenal. But I know it won't happen.
