Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
We noted a few weeks back how Paul Heyman received big praise for his promo when Brock Lesnar returned on RAW and was named John Cena’s opponent for SummerSlam. Heyman continues to receive rave reviews backstage for his mic work, especially how he’s helping to sell Cena vs. Lesnar with Lesnar off TV.
Another WWE star is getting the other kind of attention from WWE officials. Cameron has had some heat recently for her in-ring work. A source noted that her work has been called “nothing less than awful.”

Raw is Monday night in Austin, TX. Neither John Cena nor Brock Lesnar are advertised to be there live.
A lot of focus on Brie + steph, Reigns n orton and Dean n Rollins I guess.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Alfonso Castillo of Newsday has a lengthy Q&A up with Paul Heyman at this link, to promote Heyman’s new WWE DVD. Below are a few highlights:
CASTILLO: I imagine a couple years ago, even you wouldn’t have thought WWE would be releasing a DVD about you. Whether it’s true or not, there’s at least a perception that, storylines aside, the McMahons over the years have not been the biggest Paul Heyman fans. So what does it say that they put this much time, effort and resources into releasing a DVD about you?
HEYMAN: I look at it from many different perspectives. Number one, I don’t think I ever had any bigger advocate, besides my father, than Vince McMahon during the 1990s. There’s a story that is recounted on the documentary. I was sitting in the office with Steven Chau in 2000, who was the president of the USA Network reporting directly to Barry Diller. This was at the time when WWE was in federal court in order to jump to Viacom off of USA Network. And USA was looking to fill the programming slot, and ECW was the frontrunner for that option at the time. And during the meeting, Steven Chau showed me a printed-out email that he had received the night before from Vince McMahon that said, “If your network doesn’t do business with ECW and, more specifically, with Paul Heyman, you will be depriving your network of a great resource and your viewers of guaranteed great programming.” And Vince had no reason to do that except it’s what he felt at the time. He felt ECW was a great shop for the industry in terms of developing talent. So I can’t tell you that I’ve spent my life butting heads with the McMahons. I’ve had my ups and downs with them, as anybody else in my position would. I would not have guessed three or four years ago that a documentary on my career would have been released by WWE. But I wouldn’t have guessed three or four years ago that I would have been back in WWE.
CASTILLO: You brought up ECW. At one of those TNA tapings recently at the Manhattan Center it was, again, another ECW revival. It was Tazz and Rhino, and everyone was talking about ECW and soliciting “ECW” chants from the crowd. There ended up being a back-and-forth between Tazz and Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch about how relevant this is anymore. Is it time to move on? When you see that kind of thing — the umpteenth ECW revival — is it heartwarming for you know that there’s still that passion for something you helped create? Or do you also think it’s kind of time to move on?
HEYMAN: I think it’s very much time for anybody and everybody to move on, especially on a product that you’re trying to push forward. Nostalgia tours are great, but not in a youth oriented and dominated industry. I think the lesson learned in all this is that Spike TV didn’t renew them. And one of the reasons has to be that the most passionate reaction they can get is for a product that went away in 2001. And they’ve been trying to brand themselves since their inception and they can’t get it done. They should have spent that time and energy trying to brand themselves and not trying to elicit a response of an audience based on a product that they don’t even own.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
As noted, WWE released Ricardo Rodriguez last week. His contract was set to renew the night after SummerSlam.
Ricardo had been frustrated that he wasn’t really being used as a wrestler in any significant way after Alberto Del Rio turned on him. Ricardo has reportedly been injured recently also.
The original person WWE wanted to use as Del Rio’s “personal ring announcer” told people that he wasn’t interested in doing ring announcing, which led to Ricardo getting a tryout around SummerSlam 2010.

After he has another surgery soon, it’s possible Daniel Bryan can make his return at the 2015 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. It’s worth noting that WWE creative didn’t find out about Bryan needing another surgery until the press conference he did about the burglar incident at his home.

WWE is still planning on something big for Cesaro and Paul Heyman, possibly the rumored Cesaro vs. Brock Lesnar match. It was said this week that the “amicable split” between Cesaro and Heyman is part of a slow build to something bigger.

Yohan Modric wrote:Script - Part 11:
- Spoiler:
*A recap is shown of what happened at SummerSlam. Lesnar winning the WWEWHC.*
A limo is seen pulling up in the arena. Out steps Linda McMahon with a contract in her hand. 2 police officers walk by her side as she walks backstage.
Meanwhile we are quickly taken to the locker room area and Randy Orton is laying unconscious after just being attacked by somebody. The paramedics surround him and ask if he's ok.
This plays:
- Spoiler:
Out comes Linda McMahon to a chorus of boos. She starts by saying she's finally happy with the way things are going right now. She's glad that the WWE finally has a champion, a champion who's actually worthy of being a champion. "I've finally got the entire WWE in my hands and I can do whatever I want. There is no women on this earth who is as powerful as I am today." Linda say's she's going to make the WWE more mainstream than it ever was. She say's the first step to do that is to sign up the big one. The man who is the meanest and toughest competitor in fighting today.
Out comes Paul Heyman, looking surprised as Lesnar isn't with him. He say's he's glad that Linda has accepted his client as the WWE's saviour. "My client, Brock Lesnar conquered the Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania and now he's the World Champion. Brock Lesnar simply has to be the greatest superstar of all time. Not only that, but he is the greatest FIGHTER of all time." Linda thanks Heyman and say's that Heyman is a huge part of Lesnar's success. She goes onto say that she has something special for both of them and calls out Lesnar.
Lesnar's music hits, however he doesn't appear. Linda asks Heyman where Lesnar is, however he's just as surprised his client isn't here. The titantron comes on and we see Lesnar breathing heavily and looking beat up. Lesnar is trapped between 2 cars and tries pushing them off, to no avail. He shouts "Who are you, come out and show your face." Nothing happens for a while. A man in dark cloak suddenly appears, his face hidden. The man stands in front of Lesnar. Linda shouts and orders security to go and help Lesnar. As security appear, the man with the dark cloak has disappeared. We go to a commercial break.
Out comes Damien Sandow. He starts by saying he wants his rematch for the Intercontinental title tonight. He say's if he doesn't get it tonight, something is going to happen to all the unwashed masses tonight. Nothing happens and Sandow goes towards a fan in the crowd and grabs him by his shirt. Out comes Stephanie McMahon. She tells Sandow to stop. "I don't want any legal troubles, so you leave that fan alone right now." He lets go of the fan and renters the ring. Stephanie tells Sandow that Bray Wyatt may not be here tonight due to the beating he took last night at SummerSlam. So instead, she's got another opponent for him. Sandow say's he either gets his rematch, or he's going take his anger out on the fans. Stephanie warns Sandow and say's if he steps out of line again, she'll fire him on the spot. Sandow apologises to Stephanie and she accepts it. He say's he wants to take the rest of the night off tonight to rest and Stephanie reluctantly agrees. As she turns around, Sandow puts his robe around Stephanie and attempts to suffocate her. "You think you can tell me what to do, you think you can outwit the intellectual saviour?" He then continues to attack her as security come out. Sandow escapes from the ring and runs off into the crowd. Sandow is seen backstage trying to escape. He continuously looks behind him to see if the security guards are chasing after him. He gets into his car. He looks across at a mystery driver and nods and smiles at him as the car pulls away. We got to a commercial break.
Out come Big E, Kofi Kingston, Sami Zayn and Zack Ryder. Kofi picks up a mic. "Boom, boom boom. That is how we have made our mark here. Woo, woo, woo. "Everyone has been woo'ed like never before and this is just a taste of things to come.", say's Ryder. As Big E is about to say something, he is interrupted by their opponents for tonight. Out comes Fandango first accompanied by Layla and Summer Rae. As he walks up the ramp, he starts kissing both of them. They both start removing their clothes and the passion continues between the 3 as they end up going backstage, instead of to the ring. Out come Harper and Rowan. They both slowly walk towards the ring. "Looks like this is going to be a handicap match", say's JR. Harper and Big E start the match off and battle for a while, when suddenly the arena goes dark. The lights turn on and a group of masked men come out to horror music:
- Spoiler:
and slowly surround the ring. The lights turn off and on again and the ring is empty.
******************************************************
We go backstage to Linda's office and she is talking with Heyman.
"Listen Paul, I've sent everyone one my staff around the arena to look for that hooded man. He's not getting away with this."
Stephanie barges into the office. "Mom, did you see what happened to me out there?! You gotta sort this and fire Damien right now. I want to sue his ass for putting his hands on me. You hear me!?"
Linda: "Calm down dear, I'll get it sorted right now." In comes Roman Reigns. "Hey babe, how you doing. What happened to you out there was just... yeh. Anyway I've come to you Linda because I've gotta little proposition for you."
Linda: "Hang on Roman just a minute, I've gotta make a quick phone call."
In comes Tamina. "Hey Roman, how you doing." Linda: "So Roman, you were saying? Oh yeh, a proposition, go ahead."
Roman: So yeh, I had this idea that you give me a shot at the Intercontinental title and I'll do whatever little job you want done."
Linda: Roman, I don't know what you're trying to say. But if you want a IC title match, you're going to have to earn it. So next week, you and Tamina will team up and take on a mystery opponent in a no DQ match.
Tamina: Wait, what? A no DQ match? Why am I involved?
Linda: Tamina, listen girl. If you win, well, there's something in it for you too.
*******************************************
Out comes John Cena to a chorus of boos. *I-M-O* chants echo throughout the arena.
Cena starts talking about how what he did last night was truly best for business.
Cena: What I did last night, was truly what is best for business. All of you idiots in here have to clue how this business works. You talk about how you want all these bland midgets as your champion, well nu-uh, you're all mindless sheep. Nothing you say or do will ever change the business ever again. *Crowd boo*
Myself and Linda have come to an agreement about how this company will run from now on. Brock Lesnar is the World Champion and deservedly so. However, like the proud champion I am, I need some gold around my waist too jack. So tonight I'm going to...
*Out comes Dean Ambrose on a motorbike.*
Ambrose: John, John, John. You're not getting gold around your waist boy. You're getting my boot right in your face! You know John, it's jackasses like you who need to be taught a lesson. Everyone all along knew you were one phony son of a bitch. So how about me and you tonight, one on one. I'll knock some sense into you that you seem to have lost. How about it!?
Cena: Oh, look who it is. Who let you out the mental ward? Doc, come and take away this deranged man, who happens to be standing in my ring.
Ambrose steps out the ring and grabs a toolbox out of his motorbike. He opens it up and there's a spanner inside. He takes it...
Ambrose: Take a look at this. I will rip your eyes out with this right here if say one more word, you hear me.
Cena: Ok, ok, calm down junior. You know what, since you're being so kind to me tonight. I might just consider lacing up my million dollar boots to face you tonight. I mean, come on, this should be an easy win. A 15 time world champion like me, up against a nobody like you? Come on, let's get a ref out here.
Ambrose: You better watch your mouth John, I'm going to crush you tonight and you won't be breathing when I'm done with you tonight.
Match ending:
Cena hits a clothesline on Ambrose. He goes for a spinning outpowerbomb and then attempts the AA, however Ambrose counters with a DDT. Both men are down and slowly get back up. They both trade punches and Ambrose then goes his dirty deeds finisher, however Cena counters into an AA, however Ambrose then counters that and hits the dirty deeds. Before the ref can make a 3 count, a fan jumps in from the crowd and pulls the ref out!
JR: Who is humongous freak of nature? What the hell is going on?
Cole: Come on security, do your damn job!
The fan starts attacking Ambrose along with Cena. However out comes Ziggler to try and save Ambrose! Ziggler takes out Cena with a flying clothesline and attempts to take out the fan. However from behind Cena hits him with a shot to the back. Out comes Bo Dallas to a huge pop, he takes out Cena. However from behind Ziggler takes out Bo Dallas! Ziggler and Cena and the fan continue attacking Ambrose and Bo Dallas. We go to a commercial break.
Back from the break and we head backstage. We see the fan, Ziggler and Cena conversing.
Fan: Good going lads. I, fat-f-k-n Tom, salute you both.
All 3 men suddenly pick out a briefcase from a drawer in the room. Cena opens his and there seems to be a whole lot of cash inside.
Rene Young: Guys, can I quickly just ask you what happe..
Ziggler: Get out Rene, get out.
Cole: What the heck is going on here?
JR: I have no idea Michael, but it seems as if business if about to pick up for those 3!
Cole: And where is TRM tonight?
***************************************************
Another car is seen pulling up backstage. It looks as if there's 2 people in the car.
Cole: Now what?
*******************************************************
Out comes Cesaro.
Cesaro: For a very long time now I've been coming out, putting on match of the night, night after night and not getting the respect I deserve. I'm the guy who won the 'Andre the giant' memorial match at WrestleMania. I'm the guy who Paul Heyman chose as his 'guy'. And I'm the guy who from tonight on wards is going to show why I am the greatest wrestler of all time. I'm not just saying that to look cool, no, no. I'm saying it because I mean it. Do you want to know why I mean it? Well, starting tonight, every week I'm going to face somebody. Now if I lose, I'm going to leave the WWE. Yes, you heard right, leave the WWE. But if I win, well, let's just say you don't wanna know what happens.
Out comes the Big Show.
Match ending:
Big Show goes for the knockout punch, Cesaro ducks and hits multiple uppercuts to take out the Big Show. He then goes for the neutraliser, however Big Show powers out and goes for the chokeslam. Cesaro breaks the grip and clotheslines him, then shouts 'greatest wrestler'. Cesaro then hits the neutraliser for the 3 count.
After the match Cesaro, gets a pen and writes the number 1 on Big Shows head.
********************************************
We are taken backstage to the locker room area. Fandango is kissing Summer Rae and Layla in the shower and the curtain is covering them. Divas champion Paige looks towards the shower and licks her lips. She walks towards the shower and pulls the curtain open. Summer Rae and Layla scream as Fandango quickly covers them. Paige begins to remove her clothes as the segment ends.
***************************************************************
Out comes Bray Wyatt.
Last night, man, it was night and day at the same time. I picked up gold, but the cowards flung from their nest right into my cage. Fortunately, the gold remained with me, but the cowards got to me and escaped. But they don't know anything man. I know what they eat, drink, man it doesn't taste right. I look at their suppliers and well, all I see is a dirty hole. But you know, the things I eat and drink taste even sour, ahahaha. That is why I know when I see them again, I'll have a trap set for them and if they dare to attack me again, well, I'll flush them down the dirty hole I use after I eat. ahahahaha.
Out comes The Miz.
Match ending:
The Miz hits a clotheslines in the corner. He then hits a DDT. He then sets up for the skull crushing finale, however Wyatt counters and hits a running cross body. He then hits the sister abigail and gets the 3 count. As Wyatt exits the ring, he starts coughing and collapses. Harper and Rowan carry him backstage.
***********************************************************
- Spoiler:
Out come Linda McMahon, once again accompanied by Paul Heyman.
Linda: "Well, let's try this again shall we. Brock, let's do this."
Lesnar's music hits and this he appears with the newly won WWEWHC on his shoulders.
He shakes the hands of Heyman and Linda.
Linda say's whatever happened earlier in the night, well it's all being sorted and whoever was responsible for attacking Lesnar will suffer.
Linda: Now moving onto tonight, I've got a something special for the both of you. Something that will get you settled for the rest of your lives.
Linda then shows them both a contract.
Linda: Brock, I want you to sign this contract right here. A multi-million dollar permanent contract, where you'll become a permanent member of the roster. I trust you more than anything and I want you to lead this company into the future. What do you say?!
*I-M-O chants echo loudly throughout the arena*
Lesnar looks around for a while, then smiles and shakes Linda's hand.
Linda: And as for you Paul, well I've got a contract for you here which will make you the richest man manager on the planet. A contract, that guarantees a rich life for you and your family and a contract where you will, sometime in the future become a future WWE shareholder.
Heyman shakes her hand and both Lesnar and Heyman sign their contracts.
On the titantron we are shown a locker room door just closing. Nothing happens for a while. Suddenly, Transfer Rumour Modric's music hits! The roof blows off the arena:
JR: Is it him? Is it him? IT IS! 'The agile one' is here!
Cole: He's here! The 'possession one' is here!
This for 5 seconds:
- Spoiler:
followed by:
- Spoiler:
Out comes TRM.
*I-M-O chants echo throughout the arena*
TRM enters the ring.
TRM: Well, guys, *crowd chants I-M-O along with TRM* I-M-O, I decided to show up to work tonight. *Crowd chant yehhhhhhhh*
Linda: It's nice of you to join us, TRM. Come on join the party!
TRM: I'm not much of a party guy, but seen as you're asking so nicely, why not...
TRM: But first, I just wanna ask you a quick question boss. Why? Why did you screw me last night?
Linda: Screw you? I did no such thing. I did, what I felt was right. This is what this business needs, you know it, I know it and so does everybody else right here. *Crowd boo*
Heyman: That's correct, Mrs McMahon. My client is the greatest FFFFF-IGHHTTTT-ERRR of all time. He is what the fans come to see. Not some rookie who's been here 5 minutes, like yourself.
Linda: Hang on, hang on Paul, that is a bit harsh.
Heyman: I guess?!
TRM: A rookie, huh? You think the agile one is a rookie? I was 3 seconds away from pinning your client and becoming the new WWEWHC. But what happened? Your boss over there screwed me and I ain't happy about that.
Linda: Now TRM, I hired you and I am fully capable of firing you. So you better watch your mouth or you'll regret it like never before. So I tell you what, you do as I say and follow our lead and you'll get your chance one day. ORR, you disobey us and pay the price. It's your choice.
TRM: Well, as you did treat me very kindly at the beginning, *crowd chant I-M-O along with TRM*, I-M-O I have no choice, but to accept your offer. But you see the thing is, I feel you guys are getting too ahead yourselves right here. You guys are becoming too generic I-M-O. Ya know, the bad guy boss and his favourite employee.. You understand me? And I'm not one for generic things so how about we meet halfway?
Linda: Halfway? What do you mean?
TRM: Well, I wanna call some of the shots. So, I want a title shot right here right now, what do ya say? *Crowd cheer*
Linda: I'm afraid that's not going to be possible. Brock isn't in the greatest condition right now after what happened earlier to him tonight and I wouldn't let you fight him anyway. I fear for your safety and you know that I care about you very much.
TRM walks towards Lesnar and both superstars lock eyes with each other. As TRM turns around to say something to Linda, Lesnar cheap shots TRM and hits him across the head with the titles. Heyman smiles and tells Lesnar to continue attacking TRM. Linda tells Lesnar to stop in a mocking way. Lesnar continues attacking, however lights go out once again. The pyros go off on the ring posts and out of the crowd someone enters the ring with a taser and shocks Lesnar! He shouts in pain. TRM picks up a steel chair and attacks Lesnar as he escapes to the ground. Lesnar, Heyman and Linda back away. TRM and....
JR: Wait, is that AJ Lee?
TRM and AJ Lee stand tall in the ring and the crowd chant I-M-O as the show ends.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Former WWE superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin joined Shan & RJ of Texas' 105.3 The Fan, and spoke about many topics including the Dallas Cowboys, Austin's latest projects, and fellow pro wrestlers.
Austin was put on the spot and asked who was the bigger legend between him and Hulk Hogan.
"If you're talking to me, it's going to be Stone Cold Steve Austin," said Austin. "If you guys are talking to Hulk, it's going to be him."
After Austin comically shared his opinion with both hosts, he praised the "Hulkster" for his contributions to pro wrestling.
"I respect Hulk Hogan because his career lasted some 30 odd years," Austin stated. "I think I lasted about 15, but during my peak years, I took the business to a height it never seen before.
When says to anybody off the street, 'Hey, do you know anything about pro wrestling?' They'll say, 'Yeah, wasn't that guy Hulk Hogan a pro wrestler?' His name might come to your mind before mine, so I give that guy all due respect. He had a tremendous run."
The hosts then informed Austin had won their fan poll with 70% of the votes.
Austin was then asked if WWE's current product makes him upset, because of the PG rating and how entertainment comes first with the promotion. Austin said their number one goal is to entertain all demographics, but also said a way to improve the product would be to have great wrestling matches, make the titles mean something, and add some personal storylines into the mix.
He also isn't a fan of the juvenile humor, and that nobody takes it seriously because of the shenanigans. He said it doesn't have to go back to the "Attitude Era," but some things should be left out.

On a recent Ross Report podcast, Jim Ross threw out the idea of working with CM Punk as broadcast partners for New Japan Pro Wrestling's iPPV events. Through other channels, the idea of Ross doing NJPW shows was pitched but the impression given was that New Japan didn't bite on the idea.
It could be because the iPPV's don't have a lot of buys outside of Japan. It should be noted this was just a JR idea and there was no talk within NJPW of making it happen. Ross also noted he hadn't talked to Punk about it.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy with Batista as Drax the Destroyer had a huge start this weekend and was expected to bring in up to $100 million. The movie had an opening day of $37.8 million, beating The Rock’s Hercules by $10 million.
The Hercules numbers include the entire opening weekend but Guardians did open in 500 more theaters. Hercules is expected to be at $52 million when this weekend is over.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Paul Heyman recently joined Doug Mortman and Dave Lagreca on Busted Open. You can hear Busted Open on SiriusXM 92 and on the SiriusXM app. Here are some highlights:
His early days in the business hustling to get press passes: “I just didn’t want to be another face in the crowd. I was a huge fan of the product. On Sunday my parents would go to the lower east side of Manhattan because my Mother likes to shop there and my Father and I would bum around before we picked up my Mother. One of the things My Father liked to do was we would pick up these radical lower New York free news papers with their own social agenda because their writing was always very passionate. Whether we agreed with their politics or not doesn’t matter, you would find great emotions in the writing. In one of these papers was a sports column and it was more of a sports gossip column and the writer mentioned that after Madison Square Garden, Vincent J McMahon would take his inner circle to lunch at Ben Bensons Steak House in midtown Manhattan. Now I don’t know the readership of this article, so I don’t know if a lot of old WWWF fans got to see this, so I figured this was some inside information. I found out that the office was at the Cape Cod Coliseum which was owned by Vincent J McMahon, so I called and said ‘My name is Paul Heyman. I was told to call by Vince McMahon to get my press pass for Madison Square Garden’. I’m put through 3-4 assistants until I got patched through to Vince J McMahon. I said ‘This is Paul Heyman from the Wrestling Times’ because we have The New York Times. I said ‘I was talking to you at Ben Bensons and you said to call you about a press pass at Madison Square Garden.’ He said ‘I did?!’. I said ‘Yeah you did.’ Because who else would know he dines at Ben Bensons and who would tell him that he was in a radical news paper in the lower east side of New York with a readership of a couple hundred, so I must have been real. He said ‘Go to the Holland Hotel at 42nd street and 8th Ave and talk to Gorilla Monsoon and Arnold Skaaland and I look forward to seeing you at the Garden.’ I got a ride down to the Holland Hotel and I saw Monsoon and Skaaland playing pinnacle with a bottle of booze, I got my press pass, BS’d my way into Madison Square Garden with my press pass and got in Vince Sr’s good graces by snapping some photos with him and Andre The Giant and bringing him some 8X10 the next month. For the rest of the time he was in charge, I would bring pictures they could use in their programs or on posters and they would give me 50 bucks for my transportation and trouble. I’ve always found that honesty is dramatically overrated.”
Brock vs. Cena at Summerslam: “Brock Lesnar is going to beat John Cena. That’s not a prediction, that’s a spoiler. Brock is going to win and it will bring more prestige and box office draw to the championship title than anybody in the past 25 years. Brock Lesnar is going to make that title mean more than it ever has before and people are going to understand that when the title is on the line it is special and it’s going to mean something.”
The shock of Lesnar ending Undertakers Streak and why people didn’t believe him when he announced that Taker will lose to Lesnar: “You should have listened to me. I’m gonna tell you this again, Brock Lesnar is going to deliver an F-5 that will drive Cena with such force he will pin John Cena and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. You can believe what I’m telling you and you won’t be surprised next time you interview me and you can say ‘every time Heyman says something it comes true. He’s not Nostradamus and he doesn’t have a crystal ball or any special voodoo powers’ Brock Lesnar is going to beat John Cena. Take it to the bank.”
Where the moment Brock pinned the Undertaker ranks in his career: “As an advocate and performer, it is the moment. Absolutely. Nothing else is even close. John Cena brought it up on Monday night. 40 men have held the WWE championship. Only one man can say ‘I beat the streak’. That’s a moment. The only equivalent I can give you is if someone was announced as the President of the United States and someone comes up and says ‘I’ve been elected God’. There have been a few men who ever had the title. Only one man beat the streak.”
His relationship with Vince McMahon today: “Strictly platonic. I think Vince McMahon serves his company well as the chairman and recognizes the talents and exploiting the ability of Paul Heyman every Monday night on Raw.”

Randy Orton responded to a fan on Twitter this weekend who ranted on him for having a Dishonorable Discharge from the Marines. Orton replied:
“Bad Conduct Discharge, not Dishonorable. Fact check next time ya D bag”
Orton also responded to fans who asked him questions, telling them to ask Zack Ryder or Dolph Ziggler instead. He wrote:
“I don’t do Q&A’s. So stop asking. Try @ZackRyder or @HEELZiggler.”

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
The WWE is currently working on the basis that Daniel Bryan won’t return from injury until January 2015, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
At that point Bryan would return at the Royal Rumble, taking up the spot of the third most important wrestler in the company. He had previously been the firm number two man, if not the almost equal to John Cena’s number one spot. However, his long term absence with a neck injury has relegated his status. This past week he found out he would need a second surgery on the nerve damage, effectively ruling him out for a further six months. There are now long term plans for John Cena to be the number one guy, with Roman Reigns the heir apparent. Bryan would return as a strong third franchise star, but the top two babyface positions are now locked for Cena and Reigns.
The loss of status will be a personal blow to Bryan, who was the key man at this year’s WrestleMania 30. His main event victory seemed to be the start of his career push, but it now looks as if it was in fact his peak. The reason for his loss of momentum was the nerve injury in his vertebrae, which required a surgery in May. Since that surgery, Bryan has failed to recover strength in his right arm. As a result, it was decided last week that he will undergo the second surgery. The Wrestling Observer reports that the recovery time will be a further five to six months, leading to the reported January return time.
The new surgery will see Bryan’s nerve moved and placed under his muscle. The star has noted that while he doesn’t have strength on the right side, the injury isn’t aggravating in daily life. Hopefully he will have a speedy recovery and be back to action as soon as possible.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Bryan will be back to being the number 1 guy when he returns imo. His overness and return pop will be insane and WWE once again will have no choice.
Reigns is eventually going to get booed.
