Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
In the video above, Daniel Bryan talks with IGN at the San Diego Comic Con yesterday.
Bryan was asked about his WWE status and he said that nobody really knows the prognosis for his return. He said different people, presumably various doctors, have different prognosis.
Bryan said we'll probably see some of his rehabilitation on Total Divas but it's not a focal point of the next season. Bryan noted that he and Brie Bella got cable TV in their new home to just watch WWE & UFC programming.
Regarding Sting, Bryan said Comic Con was his first time meeting Sting.
Bryan also said it's great that Kenta is in WWE. Bryan believes Kenta will make people step their game up. Bryan called Kenta an innovator and acknowledged that he learned his running knee from Kenta and that Kenta is the originator of CM Punk's GTS.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
My idea for Sting's debut:
My idea is to basically debut him as a commissioner/GM/authority figure. Maybe throw in the odd occasional match. So heading into SummerSlam, it’s very likely that Ambrose will face Rollins on the show. I’m guessing the MITB briefcase will be on the line. Now my winner for that match would be Ambrose. The main event then is Cena vs Lesnar of course. The match could maybe be a gimmick match. Maybe a last man standing match? Cena, would win that match. Now wait a minute… Cena wouldn’t win clean. It would be a controversial finish with Lesnar’s foot being on the rope or something. After the bell rings, Lesnar annihilates him.
Then the inevitable happens and Ambrose runs out to a huge pop to cash it in. The match starts and goes on for a while. Cena can barely stand and it’s clear his hurt. However from out of nowhere he hits the AA, Ambrose kicks out. Ambrose then hits his finisher, however before the ref can count, Rollins appears and pulls the ref out. Kane and Rollins then attack Ambrose as Triple H comes out and barks orders at them to continue attacking. When suddenly some sort of thunder effect hits and the arena goes dark. When the lights come back on, Sting’s in the ring!
Sting takes out both Kane and Rollins, possibly with a steel chair. Ambrose then gets up, hits his finisher again. Ref crawls back in and makes the count. New WWEWHC, Dean Ambrose. Sting stares down at Triple H as Ambrose celebrates. The following night on RAW, Sting comes out and say’s the WWE board of directors have appointed him the commissioner of WWE, due to the authority abusing their powers etc.
Now why Ambrose? Well I think he’s one of the most talented in WWE and there’s no one better currently. Reigns, yes, he’s over, but so is Ambrose. Plus Ambrose is superior to Reigns at everything. Long term, the storyline would see Ambrose and Reigns aligning with Sting. Triple H possibly convincing the Wyatt’s to align with him. Reigns turning heel on Sting and joining the authority, then Bray would turn face and align with Sting.

WWE announcers have made references to "The Roman Empire" and that could be the new phrase they want fans of Roman Reigns to start using.

ABC 15 News out of Phoenix reports that Daniel Bryan stopped a burglar at his home this past Thursday night.
According to the article, Bryan and his wife, Brie, were pulling into his carport when he saw his front door open. Two men then ran out of the house and tried to get away.
Bryan was able to catch one of the men, 22-year-old Cesar Sosa, and detain him until police arrived. The other suspect managed to flee the scene and has not been located.
Bryan will be meeting with media about the incident this afternoon.

As if you would rob a wrestler's house
God I hope someone tries to rob Brock's house But apparently Brock lives in a cabin in some woods and has no TV or anything lol.

TMZ has an article about the incident here. TMZ noted that the incident took place on Thursday night, not Monday night as reported by ABC 15. Monday night didn't make sense, as Brie was in Miami for RAW. TMZ also added the Bryan had the burglar locked in a rear naked choke for 5 minutes until police arrived.
TMZ also noted that Brie was able to retrieve the items that the burglars were in the process of stealing, which included a bracelet that belonged to Bryan's father, who recently passed away.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
Above is video of Daniel Bryan giving a press conference on the incident where he and Brie Bella returned home to find two burglars coming out of their home.
Regarding the man that Bryan detained, he said the man was so tired from the chase that it took no effort to take him down. Bryan doesn’t think the man recognized him as a WWE Superstar. Bryan also said he was worried about getting sued when he had the man down.
Bryan got emotional when talking about the piece of jewelry from his late father that was almost stolen.
Bryan said WWE doctors called him yesterday and said he needs to have another surgery because he isn’t healing very well. Bryan said doctors went in and removed bone spurs from his spinal cord but now the nerve from his neck has suffered a “double crush.” Doctors want to perform another surgery to correct this.
Bryan said he has about half the strength in his right arm than in his left arm. He doesn’t think the incident with the burglar caused any further damage.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 17
must have been a midget if Bryan stopped him
I didn't realise his injury was so serious, sounds like he could be out for a long time and never recover that well
I'm not a fan of his but I wish him the best in his future endeavors
