I don't know whether Neymar get more skills than R9 at his age or not But what i'm sure about is that R9 embarked in Europe when he turned 18yo and played for Feynoord !! This point made a lot of difference between the two players. Playing In Madrid for 50M is a big deal that Neymar can't handle.

I think he can handle it,the problem would be if he went to Madrid unwillingly,because he clealy doesnt wan to move,not even for money.

To pay 50M€ on Neymar can be an obstacle for him to succeed in Madrid. The pressure that amount of money will provide can destroy the player and we know how Madrid fans react.

if he is willing to go,he wont cost 50M,it will be around 30M

Ganso for example would go to Milan for 32M while his buyout clause is 50M (Neymar's is 45M)

He played for PSV Very Happy

.. But these days its more common for an 18 year old to go play for a HUGE European club.. Look at Pato, Robinho etc

starting football in Europe at a small team is very helpful. The problem with Neymar is that the amount of money is huge and this gonna get him through obsession to succeed and maybe he will be another Madrid Robinho.

Just as a side note, Neymar and Santos have both been super-meh this year. Santos is at the bottom half of the table and Neymar has 4 goal/1 assist.... 18 games into the season.

F**k.That is horrible. TBH I didn't see much need for Neyamr to Begin with , since I was beginning to think that Di Maria was the ideal player for us on the wings, and that he could actually develop into a superstar , but he seems to have regressed, so I guess that kept the door open for Neymar. But he also seems to be regressing..........Hopefully both of them just have patches of bad form.

neymar hasnt been awful,the problem is that santos doesnt have neymar and ganso when there are fifa dates,they spent the entire copa america without them for example

9 games 4 goals 1 assist,he has been pretty good and he has been playing every 3 days for the past 3 months
