Pretty much this. I think Flanagan on the right might actually help Skrtel a bit but he is quite bullish and foul prone. I'd much rather have a top level CB insulating a poor defensive RB than the opposite.

Also Ibe is really something. I could see him cracking the team like Sterling did last year. Not sure who has more potential between the two tbqh.

All I know is that if Sterling, Ibe, Coutinho and Markovic all reach their potential Liverpool is going to have the most ridiculous attack in world football. So much pace, trickery and ball control.

One day Brendan is just gonna say eff it and throw in Raheem, Ibe, Lazar and Sturridge together and ask Stevie and Coutinho to just keep lumping them throughballs.

Ibe is brilliant but I guess by now its clear why he has not broken in the team. He's "finishing"

Flano seems already improved in his confidence, some of the balls he passed were very neat and legit

Coutinho-class but his finishing

Suso and Tex-similar type of player, flanking both the flanks, that was a terrible line up with no proper runner on the front, in the first half, so didnt work at all

Lucas and Rossiter-the MF looked too bad and the ball was not coming out of the defence with ease and quickly enough to start the attack.

Adorjan, Allen and Coady-that looked much better, some of the control and passes by Coady and Adorjan were impressive, I think both are good players but not sure if they can step up for us, although I always had high exp for Coady

Borini-bah gawd what's wrong with him, I hope he improves in the next match. If he continues such sort of form, we have to buy one more striker like Bony or Remy.

Anyways, looking forward to the next friendly because it will be more sensible to judge them after 2-3 friendlies.
