Brazil were fortunate Cesar wasn't sent off. Refs seem to be lenient to Brazil for some "unknown reason".

That should have been a straight red. The Colombia goal was unjustly ruled offside. What a farce.

This. Poor refereeing went both ways. How was Brazil gifted, they didn't get a penalty.

No red given to Julio Cesar. Incorrectly disallowed goal. Many dubious no calls and no cards to brazil. And this is only one game.

Cesar deserved a straight red, no discussion about it.

Colombia's goal was rightly disallowed though, Yepes indeed was offside. Great call from the ref there.

That was not a red card because it was impossible for the colombian to get the ball even before Cesar's challenge, last man rule doesn't apply there.Yepes was offside.the ref was giving 100 fouls for both teams, and he gave no yellows to both teams.pls shut it and accept the underdogs are out and the better team got trough

They were offside from the free kick Laughing

The ball wasn't going towards goal and DL4 was there for Cesars card. I'd argue that is enough doubt to not pull out a straight red. Bacca still had work to do to score. The reffing was poor both ways.

I don't think it was clear cut, I think it should have been red BUT, I think there was enough reason to doubt it that I can understand the ref giving him a yellow.

I hope that the refs in the next matches will be a bit stricter when players hack down their opponents. I was already annoyed when Olivier Giroud didn't even get a yellow for kicking Steve Van Bergen into the face and breaking some bones there, but this knee-jump at Neymar was an absolute horror that was IMO a direct consequence of the much too lenient decisions before.

I still don't get how Brazil v Chile went through without any sending off, that match was a blood bath.

And a couple of French and German players both should've seen earlier yellows in our tie, for the countless tactical fouls. The amount of times Griezman, Müller, and Özil were just pushed over to stop a counter was ridiculous.

They mad rofl Underdog lovers heart broken to pieces by Silva and Luiz rofl

YEPES WAS OFFSIDE.

LAST MAN RULE DID NOT APPLY IN THE PENALTY.

Many dubious no calls and no cards to brazil. SAME THING APPLIES TO COLOMBIA.

Refereeing was typical La Liga scrubbish refereeing but it was not totally in favour of Brazil. But I know you are mad that the underdog is out so please carry on if you like with your Brazil hate glasses on and spew your rage if that makes you feel good.

How Fernandinho did not get a yellow card is beyond me. I swear he did a foul every 2 minutes. And then there was Zuniga who did countless dives, incredibly exceeded his number of dives with his number of fouls and then topped it of by doing a Bane on Neymar.

Luiz was closer to the ball than the next Colombian. Had Cesar not taken him out, he wouldn't have scored as Luiz was between him and the ball and it was heading out of play.

Zuniga should have got a second yellow before the Nerman back break any way.

http://ww.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/29v4l0/zuniga_goes_straight_on_hulks_kneel_before/

But of course GL haters will ignore that because it does not fit in the CONSPIRACY BRAZIL REF FFS agenda.

I see no conspiracy to favor Brazil . They are refereed as every NT who host a WC. All can saying  " to not be damaged" . then we must measure the weight of it.   And Brazil was standard .  I mean , it is most difficult to give a yellow card for that NT than another, it's always been so in WC, I saw even worse ( South Korea 2002 ..Its 4th place was really a farce, and I don't say it only because robbed to Italy. Asking also to Spain , Even more damaged  than us ) but except that ridicolous penalty in first match I don't see " farce" o " conspiracy" . Otherwise, why that goal disallowed to Hulk? Yes,  it was correct, but if there was a conspiracy .. if there was a conspiracy Brazil didn't risk to be knocked out to penalty kicks. Or Thiago Silva wouldn't have missed the semi-final.

and   I mean , Blaise Matuidi is French , not Brazilian. Don't overrate refs

Goal WAS offside and I completely understand not giving the red card as well. I think I would have given it, but I understand it not being given.

Thought the refereeing was terrible for both sides, but ultimately didn't really favor one side much more than another.

If he started giving yellows for persistent infringement, it was so late in the game that just about everybody who made a foul would have been getting a yellow. That's why you need to establish control early and give yellows for persistent infringement. That prevents the ridiculously high amount of fouls and cynical fouls.

Awful ref.
