Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 15
Ideal time for him returning would be SummerSlam or Royal Rumble next year, setting up a match between himself and Bryan for the title at WM.

Agree. They need to strip the title off Bryan. Or at least do my idea and have an interim champion. Even if Bryan isn't out for long, he would come back to an instant storyline. Otherwise he'll just feud with Kane/Authority again.
I hope they surprise us in the Shield/Evolution match and not have Roman Reigns be the last survivor. Didn't we already see that at Survivor Series! If it does end up being Reigns alone vs all 3 Evolution and Reigns winning, he's going to end up being hated for his superman push.
Also they must have thought they were booking Night of Champions. Only explanation why the IC title and the US title is on the card!

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 15
Yeah WWE need to distinguish between a good push and overkill. Reigns single handedly destroying Evolution would be disgraceful.

Like I said, Bryan was never gonna give away the championship. WWEs way of writing Brie off of TV.

Thought Bo was going to act like a proper face, while still being a heel. Instead he went for cheap heat.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 15
Great PPV despite some crappy build up. Eventually this was a 3 match PPV with some okay segments in between. Cesaro vs Sheamus was a great physical match with an unpredictable winner. Cesaro looked very strong but he didnt win, smh, but if that means he will win money in the bank then thats fine. BNB vs RVD did what it had to do, good match, the right guy won and thats all. Rybaxel vs Cody and Goldust also did what it had to do in creating a split and hopefuly it leads to Cody and Goldust feuding.
Cena vs Brey was a great great match but as with everything Cena that wrong guy won. I dont know why Cena needed to win this but this is how it works in the WWE. Brey was never gonna win this feud period. They did tease a Cena heel turn but thats as far as it goes, Cena will NEVER turn heel.
The main event was really good, but not the best match of the night. Despite dominating most of the match Evolution didnt look as strong as they wanted them to be. The right team won here but a clean sweep is just too much. Oh well, the faces always dominate in WWE and at least these guys are still fresh. Not sure what's next for the Shield since they have no one to feud with so we wait and see.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 15
Right now WWE needs some swerves imo. Maybe Reigns turning heel and leaving the shield.
Stephanie cheating on Triple H and hooking up with Bryan.
Goldust turning heel on Cody.
More Alicia Fox going mad segments.
The Wyatt's having internal problems. Maybe Harper and Rowan start to question why Bray is the leader or something.
Sandow coming out and delivering a pipebomb.
Miz, Ryder and Ziggler forming a disgruntled employees stable.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 15
Tonight's WWE RAW takes place from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana with the fallout from Payback and more.
Top stars advertised include all of Evolution, The Shield, The Wyatt Family, Big E, Kane, Alberto Del Rio, Big Show and Cesaro.
No matches have been announced for tonight's show but Rob Van Dam and Sheamus vs. Cesaro and Bad News Barrett was planned as of this weekend. WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight:
* What does Stephanie McMahon have planned for Daniel Bryan and what's next for Brie Bella, who's no longer on the roster?
* Will Kane bring more disaster with him to RAW?
* Is the WWE Universe free of The Wyatt Family's evil allure?
* Will Goldust and Cody Rhodes regain their luster as singles competitors?
* What must-see moves will The Shield make next?

Roman Reigns mentioned on the WWE Payback Fallout post-show last night that he thought he tore his triceps. No word yet if that's a legitimate injury or he was just hyping up how brutal the match was.

Going into last night's show, WWE expected Paige and Sheamus to get booed heavily from the Chicago crowd.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 15
As of this past week, Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Title is not penciled in for SummerSlam, even though it seems like a natural match to make for the biggest show of the summer.
We noted before that Cesaro is a favorite to win the title shot in this year’s Money In the Bank ladder match. There was a plan discussed that would have seen Cesaro cash in on Lesnar at SummerSlam, right after Lesnar defeated Bryan for the title, and become the new champion.
That plan is said to be off the table for now with Bryan’s status up in the air.

The original push for the late Umaga is being used as a template for Rusev's current WWE push.

It's said that at least five of the seven Money In the Bank ladder match spots have been selected and they should be filled on RAW with qualifying matches this month. As noted, Cesaro is the favorite to win this year's match.

We noted before that Roman Reigns mentioned on the Payback post-show that he may have suffered a torn triceps. One fan who was waiting outside of the Allstate Arena for photos last night noted that Reigns was clearly in pain when he came walking out of the building.
