If it were to me, i would thank cech for his past services and explain to him the situation. If PSG are willing to shell another 50M then i would ask him to leave.

Chelsea is in desperate need to regenerate the GK position and we need the likes of Courtois, a gk with balls of steel who can boldly speak out his mind.

A gk at the beginning of his career who is willing to do anything for the sake of winning. Sure, Cech is a seasoned goalkeeper with immense experience but he has lost his edge mainly because of his injury.

It's about time for some fans to overcome the sense of loyalty and think for the greater good and future of the club.

Courtois should be number 1; this is mandatory for the advancement and quick evolution of chelsea and not an option.

desperately in a sense that we are after fast paced present evolution and delivery of results.

A GK is a very important position in any team if not the most important. Cech is past it since many years, its downhill from here. We can build him a statue at stamford bridge and / or put his face on one of the postage stamps, say our aimable goodbyes and part or if he accepts he can be courtois's number 2 unless we get offers in the 40 to 50m range.

He is barely in his thirties and has shown no signs of slowing down. I'd argue he is better than Courtois too.

Courtois got nothing on Cech except for his age advantage. Cech still has several years left in him at top level

With Jose at the helm, our defence will be solid and we won't have to rely on Cech saving us, ala 2010/2011. I think it's time.

I wouldn't mind continuing with Cech for a bit longer, he has always been there for us and got us out of trouble too many times. I do want courtois, but I'm not a fan of his attitude, he is no cristiano Ronaldo to be puffing his chest out to us, he can go put in a transfer request and cry in atletico madrid once everyone stripped them of their good players. Not a fan of this guy no more lol.

Nice try Shed but that's not what Kick's trying to imply   

All he's saying is that Cech is still a top level GK and would continue to be for years to come. But given the age advantage Courtois has, if there was a choice to be made between them at this time he'd go for the latter as it's the choice that'd make sense for the long term
