Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Guillermo Ochoa's representative Jorge Berlenga has claimed that AC Milan are interested in signing the Ajaccio goalkeeper this summer.
The Serie A outfit have long been linked with a new goalkeeper to battle it out with Christian Abbiati for the No.1 position at San Siro and are believd to have identified the Mexico international as a suitable option.
Berlenga claims the 28-year-old would rather continue to play in Ligue 1 but admits the Rossoneri are interested as he weighs up his long-term future.
"I believe that he would prefer to continue his career in France, but he has also received an offer form Milan," Ochoa's agent told Fox.
"I hope that he makes the step up to a big club. He really deserves it. I don't know where he will play next season, though.
"He does not necessarily have to go to the World Cup to show off his talents."
Ochoa's contract with Ajaccio is due to expire at the end of the season, making him a free agent come June.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Julian Draxler is likely to stay at Schalke for another season, according to the player's agent.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger targeted the 20-year-old forward in January and was close to agreeing a fee with the German club before the transfer collapsed shortly before the window deadline.
The Gunners are expected to make a renewed effort to sign the Germany international in the summer but Draxler's agent, Roger Wittman, anticipates the player will remain with the Bundesliga club for another year at least despite continued interest from top clubs.
He told Sport Bild: "Why should a player leave the club if the club have just built a top team? I also think it's good if players stick to what they have signed.
"It would take an awful lot to happen for one of the two [Draxler or Jefferson Farfan] to leave. And even then I'm not sure it would be possible.
"The players understand that there is currently a lot of peace at the club and a lot of optimism about their future there."
Those sentiments were echoed by Schalke chairman Clemens Torries, who said: "If nothing extraordinary happens, Julian will stay with us.
"I am convinced that he will play even longer than this one next season at Schalke. Then we will see"
Draxler has also been linked with a possible switch to Bayern Munich, although chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said last month that the German champions were not plotting a move for the player.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
The Corriere dello Sport suggest that Napoli would be willing to listen to offers for Marek Hamsik in the summer transfer window.
The Slovakian has struggled for form since returning from injury this season and has been suggested in local media as unhappy at life under Rafa Benitez.
The Corriere dello Sport follow this up with the assertion today that whilst previously declared ‘untouchable’ on the market, the Vesuviani are now willing to listen to offers.
However, the 26-year-old won’t be made available at any price, as he is still apparently rated by the club at €40m.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Stephan El Shaarawy’s brother and agent says there are a lot of clubs interested in signing the Milan player in the summer.
Napoli and Torino are known to be monitoring his situation, but Manuel El Shaarawy insists that 21-year-old wishes to remain and do well at San Siro.
“He is finally feeling good,” the agent told Ilsussidiario.net. “He is training and playing with the Primavera team.
“He can’t wait to help Seedorf and Milan. He will play again this weekend with the Primavera team, then he will decide together with the boss what to do next.
“He wants to get back as soon as possible because the Milan formation is perfect for him. He wants to excel.
“It’s not just Napoli and Torino, there are lots of clubs who are interested in Stephan. It’s normal when you’re talking about a great player.
“But he wants to stay at Milan and the Rossoneri don’t want to lose a player like him. That’s the reality.”

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Miroslav Klose’s agent has confirmed that the Lazio forward’s preferred option would be to remain with the Biancocelesti.
The German veteran’s contract at Stadio Olimpico expires this summer and he has been linked with a move away from the club.
However, Alexander Schutt today confirmed to German media that while nothing has yet been signed, the 35-year-old wants to stay in Rome.
“We have been talking a lot to Lazio,” Schutt said. “We have had several discussions in the recent past.
“But there has still been nothing signed. We are also in contact with other clubs, but our first choice is obviously Lazio.”
Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare said recently that negotiations over a new deal for the player were going well.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has revealed he will not consider a new contract at Schalke until after this summer's World Cup.
The 30-year-old's current deal is due to expire in 2015 and the Gelsenkirchen club are eager to tie their star man down as they bid to build for next season.
Huntelaar, however, is determined to focus on ending the campaign on a high rather than being distracted by negotiations over a contract extension.
"I feel good at Schalke, but I do not know what will happen," said Huntelaar, speaking to Bild.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Juventus could ask for Mats Hummels in exchange for their half of Ciro Immobile to Borussia Dortmund.
It is well known that Borussia Dortmund are keeping a very close eye on Immobile, who is current Capocannoniere with 19 Serie A goals for Torino.
He is co-owned by Juve and Toro, so any transfer in the summer would have to see the issue resolved between these clubs first.
According to the latest reports emanating from Germany, Juventus have requested Hummels as part of an exchange deal with Immobile.
The German international centre-back is 25 years old and has scored two goals in the Bundesliga this season.
He also found the net for Germany in a 1-1 friendly draw with Italy in November.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Barcelona goalkeeper, José Manuel Pinto has reportedly informed his teammates of his intention to leave the club at the end of the season.
According to Barcelona-based Spanish sports daily, Sport, Pinto and Barcelona sporting director both reached the decision several weeks ago, but have remained coy on the 38-year-old’s future while they were in the midst of several competitions.
Pinto, who joined Barcelona in January 2008 on loan before making a permanent move that following summer, will end his six-year run at the club, along with starting goalkeeper, Victor Valdes.
With the departure of both Valdes and Pinto, Barcelona will be unable to sign a replacement due to the one-year FIFA transfer ban, leaving 24-year-old La Masia graduate, Oier Olazábal as the starter.
However, Barcelona are hoping to win their appeal against FIFA’s decision, allowing them to sign Borussia Monchengladback goalkeeper, Marc Andre Ter Stegen.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
It’s reported Napoli are in negotiations with Genoa to sign Italy striker Alberto Gilardino.
The forward is having his most prolific campaign in some time, scoring 14 Serie A goals in 32 appearances this season.
According to SportMediaset, Napoli have set their sights on Gilardino as the understudy for Gonzalo Higuain.
He will turn 32 in July and has been owned by Genoa since January 2012, but it’s claimed the club are no longer prepared to pay his wages.
Gilardino has played for Verona, Parma, Milan, Fiorentina and Bologna, spending last season on loan at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
The report from SportMediaset also suggests Genoa are the ones pushing for the move and have contacted Napoli to ask if they would be interested in making an offer.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Miroslav Klose has been in talks with several clubs about a move away from Lazio, his agent has revealed.
The 35-year-old’s contract at Stadio Olimpico expires in the summer and with an extension yet to be agreed, the Germany international has been considering all of his options.
"With Lazio, both in the past and in this recent period, we have had several talks,” Klose's representative, Alexander Schutt, told Lazionews.eu.
“Currently there is still nothing signed. I do not deny that we are also in talks with other clubs, but Lazio will always have priority over all others."
Whilst there is uncertainty over Klose’s future at Lazio, team-mate Andre Dias has dismissed rumours that he is angling for a move away from the Italian capital.
"My family is happy in Rome," the 34-year-old told Lalaziosiamonoi.it. "It is not true that I'm waiting for proposals from Brazil or that I want to go to a another Italian club.
"I'd love to stay at Lazio and finish my career here as a player.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas denied Maxime Gonalons had a deal with Napoli, but “I promised he could leave.”
The 24-year-old midfielder had already been on the verge of making this move in January, but Aulas pulled the plug at the last minute.
“There is no agreement with Napoli, so I have to deny this report,” Aulas told I-Télé in France.
“This winter I received many offers for Gonalons, including one from the Partenopei. I spoke to the player, explaining that for the good of the team he had to remain with us.
“He agreed, but specified that if the same situation occurred in the summer, I would have to let him go.
“Therefore Maxime has a good chance of being sold, as I am someone who respects his word.”
Captain Gonalons did not appear in advertising for the 2014-15 season Lyon kit, fuelling reports he was on his way out.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. II
Reading director of football, Nick Hammond recently admitted that he doesn’t expect 25-year-old Portuguese midfielder, Daniel Carriço to return to the club after his current loan deal with Sevilla expires at the end of the season and that the Andalusians will likely exercise their purchase option for the player.
In an interview with the Reading Post, Hammond spoke about the negotiations between the two clubs and he couldn’t be happier for the player.
“I have a potential deal in place with Sevilla for him.
“I’m pleased because he’s a fantastic boy and he’s gone there and played very well. He’s a very well respected played in their group.
“Sevilla have an option to buy. He’s done very well, so the assumption would be that they will take that option up.”
Hammond went on to add that Carriço is showing why they chose to purchase him from Sporting Lisbon in January 2013, and despite making just three apperances for the Royals, the player has shown he can play at the top level if given the proper minutes.
“I think the key is he’s playing week in, week out.
“Daniel is a player with a really good CV, but when we took him in the January he hadn’t got games under his belt. He was not up to speed.
“Now he’s gone to Spain and he’s done very well. It’s probably been easier for him in terms of the pace of the game, and the position that he’s played has allowed him to build a volume of games, but if you come into the Premier League, like he did, it can be quite a culture shock, as many have found.”
However, this should come as no surprise to Sevilla fans, as we reported back in January that sporting director, Monchi annouced that they will be exercising the option to purchase.
“He is a player that we’ve been following for a long time, we are happy with Dani and we will exercise his purchase option”
Reading purchased the player from Sporting CP in December 2012 for a fee of €750,000 which will likely be close to the amount that Sevilla will pay the Championship League side at the end of his current loan deal.

Couple of things on those Chelsea rumours:
Pasalic signed a pre contract in January.
Martinez LOOOL
I've heard from more reliable sources that we're looking to pay Costa about 130,000 P/W, not that crazy figure.
