Re: Chelsea Vs Paris Saint-Germain
For a whole week now I've further and further envisaged the 2-0 comeback that I predict for Chelsea. Never have I see Jose so sure of a comeback and frequently I have seen even worse Chelsea teams worm themselves out of such situations.
Paris are an elite team yet lack the experience in the form of Blanc and their core squad in such situations as already Paris' style of play is an unfortunate measure of Chelsea to whom type of tactics they struggle against. Yet like Allegri's Milan twice or Napoli or any other team who come in from their home defending a lead in their oppositions' the large predicament of how to attack, when to defend or an overall cohesive plan is always their biggest enemy to which can result fatal unless a 3 goal lead is fashioned without that oh so crucial away goal.
Mourinho I am certain has taken a few tactical struts from the last game and will have a plan to which can thwart a potentially complacent Paris.
When the camera zooms into the start of play, the atmosphere shakes the PSG players more than it should and Chelsea play like they have nothing to lose; I wouldn't be surprised.
Expecting an early goal from Chelsea after a series of individual blunders by Paris followed by a goal late into the 2nd half, Paris won't score.
I hope to god that I am dead wrong. Why does this advantage of Paris look so nimble to what it actually is?

Re: Chelsea Vs Paris Saint-Germain
For Chelsea to do this, they will have to open up at the back and risk bringing the lines up.
A theoretical dream for guys like Lavezzi and Lucas.
I also see no parralels to Napoli, I have no idea why that comeback is being mentioned as proof of anything. Napoli were beaten by routine long balls and crosses. Alex and Thiago Silva will eat those up all day long, plus Etoo has never thrived with such service.
Chelsea will have to be better than that. But I dont rule it out either.
Untill PSG actually do it, they will remain with some doubts of their true quality. More to a game than tactics, ability and skill.

Napoli's loss was simpler than that as it involved an injured Maggio coming off for Andrea Dossena who was ruthlessly targeted and giving away 2 goals.
For me, tonight comes down more to the nerves of Paris than a tactical outlier that will exploit them (to which was briefly seen in the 1st half 1st leg) as how they navigate those such mental struts is how they will seal their victory. Paris, usually are susceptible to the break neck counters on the break especially from the wide areas exploiting their fullback weaknesses. Cavani moving central provides more threat yet takes away from the thankless and tireless work he performs on the right flank to which was responsible for marking Hazard out of the game. Lucas, unfortunately doesn't carry that element.
Expecting Hazard to be their man tonight as the return of Eto'o will show Chelsea what they were missing.

PSG are easily the worst team in the quarters so far. Even Yanited did better.

At times like this you just have to give credit to GOATinho for always managing to reach semis year after year.
