1. United
2. AM
3. PSG
4. Dortmund
5. Real
6. Chelsea
7. Bayern
Similar thoughts. I don't really feat AM at all. Simeone has yet to win a single game against us. Likewise United are not exactly threatening lately. Everyone else could prove to be a challenge though. PSG did very well against us last year, but they no longer have Ancelotti. Chelsea with Mou would be very dangerous for us. I think he would do better than Real Madrid, but I would hate the stress that comes with a 2 legged competition with RM, better to wait for that at the final (if they make it).

Oops I accidentally voted for Real when I meant United
1. United
2. Dortmund
3. Atleti
4.Chelsea
5. PSG
6. Real
7. Bayern
I think PSG have the potential to do more damage than Chelsea. I find this Chelsea team to be fairly overrated. Yes it's Mou and yes they have some good players, but in their own league if Man City win their games in hand, they'll be ahead of Chelsea--and beating Man City wasn't a huge challenge.
There were certainly some big things in our favor there too, but I don't see this Chelsea side as too dangerous to us. Perhaps it's because I hate Chelsea and I hate Mou but I find the fapping over this Chelsea team to be premature.
Real I'm also pretty confident on beating, even though I placed them second to last. That's for the same reason as BC. Atleti is a team that can cause us problems but I don't see us losing to them in a 2-legged tie. United should be easy. Dortmund won't be an easy game but they are suffering a lot of injuries to key players and just got beat by Zenit--while I take that game with a grain of salt, I would be very surprised to see us lose against them.
And of course avoid Bayern at all costs.

Re: CL quarters, who do you prefer?
What does it matter how Chelsea do in the league? Last time they kicked us out of Europe they finished what? 6th?
As usual for them and as usual for Mourinho they will play a cynical, defensive, negative game and deny us all space while Cech will stop everything we throw at him as usual. They and Atletico are the last 2 teams I want to face.
Bayern I have no problem with. We'd win fairly comfortably. If they can truly pull off their current poor man's Barca style with Lahm as their single defensive pivot in Messi's zone, possession-oriented, high line, expansive football and dominate us with kids like Thiago and Kroos in midfield then they deserve it anyway. But I can't imagine they will. Unless Martino suffers from cancer and we abandon tactical training and half the team catches injuries and drifts into poor physical form while the referee awards 3 goals that shouldn't stand again. And if we can't motivate ourselves 120 % for a rematch like that we don't deserve anything anyway.

Well, in that case I don't see how AM would be comfortable. We played them 3 times and scored 1 goal this season. They defend and close down spaces and kick the shit out of you as if their lives depend on it.

Re: CL quarters, who do you prefer?
I think if we face Atletico Madrid at this time of the season, with two legs we could take them on, easier then Bayern/Madrid/PSG I would say.
Dortmund would be fairly easy too, considering their injury problems.
+ lewandowski cannot play the next match with excess yellows.

yes, i meant comfortably...
and Donut is right, facing AT at this moment over two leg will just be a torture on them. Look how easily RM beat them in copa. And in the league they defeated RM once and could not defeat us at all. Thats why i believe there run in CL is near to end. the only team whom they can defeat in CL is Man U :d. Or if they get Dortmund it will be 50-50 for them. against all other opponents they will be beaten comfortably - i think.

Re: CL quarters, who do you prefer?
Thanks for posting the table matpol.
I want to face Bayern this season, They have a better squad and they're favorites but this time its going to be a fight. Our players will be very motivated to get revenge from last season (11 v 11, our starters when FIT are still better IMO).
Although, I prefer to face them in Semis. For now I just want Real Madrid out. I won't mind if we face them now and knock them out.
All fans are hoping we face Man Utd or even Dortmund (missing key players, bad form).
Honestly, this is my perfect scenario:
Barcelona vs Chelsea
PSG vs Atletico
Dortmund vs Man Utd
Real Madrid vs Bayern
Then Barca v Bayern in the semis...

And we played much better than them and even with us finishing halfway decently, would have destroyed them. I've watched them have some good games in the league and some bad ones, even in their long unbeaten run. I haven't seen anything that I think is overly impressive, minus the form of Eden Hazard. How a team is doing in the league does correlate to how good they are as a team. While I in no way think it's a be all or end all (league play is a lot more emphasis on depth than a European match, we know this), I think that looking at how good Chelsea are doing in comparison to Man City, a team we already beat, could go some way in showing their strength. If you want to talk about outliers with the Chelsea in 6th thing, go ahead.
Why would anyone want to face Bayern?

Re: CL quarters, who do you prefer?
I know for a fact that no matter what kind of form Chelsea show in the EPL, where they have to take the initiative in most games - which won't happen against Barca -, a team of Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Luiz, Matic, Willian and Schürrle getting behind the ball, all tall, all physical, all defensive specialists including their workman, crafter forwards, will give us tremendous problems. Especially under Mourinho. And they'll somehow nick 1 goal, either on the break or on a set piece, as we can't defend a team like that on corners at all. City is not even a comparison as no one in City can defend. They are built to attack. And even then, when City sat back in the first leg, 11 vs. 11, we created very little. Against Chelsea it would be even worse by far. Not to mention they are our natural boogey team. Messi has scored 0 goals in 8 games against them. Says it all.
Yes, I'd even prefer Bayern as they are built to attack and leave 40 yards of space behind their backline under Pep with a single defensive pivot who tends to be Lahm. I'd take that over Chelsea.

Atletico it is. I think we can do it, albeit not comfortably. Does this mean we face the winner of RM/Dortmund on the semis or will there be a separate draw for that?
