You would take less because you don't pay the bills lol

Shirt sales are not a sure thing (Player hype sells those anyway) a sponsorship deal is guaranteed long term money on the table. You never take less money for something as trivial as logo design.

If the whole kit was shite for decades then you may have a point but seriously 56 million a year is not money you say no to.
