Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. II
RIP SC Ossendorf....
After their last defeat, the football club SC Ossendorf which belongs to the Kreisliga A Köln (pretty much the lowest division you can think of in Germany) considers folding and giving up playing for good.
Of course a 0:35 defeat on their own place is quite a steamrolling, but so far they managed to collect 0 (zero) points from their last 22 matches and boast a goal difference of 15:325 (yes, that's fifteen for and three hundred twenty-five against).

I say we take a punt on their top scorer, even better if he's available on a free. Get on the bike, Ayre.

Bribery Scandal in the Eredivisie!!
http://www.goal.com/en/news/462/netherlands/2015/04/17/10859972/psv-fans-offer-beer-incentive?ICID=HP_BN_2With the Eindhoven side looking to secure the league title against Heerenveen, some supporters have tried to convince the visitors to concede the points with 20 crates of beer
PSV fans are willing to go to every extreme to try to ensure their team beats Heerenveen and secure the Eredivisie title - even bribing the opposition with crates of beer.
A win on Saturday will see Phillip Cocu's men, who sit 10 points ahead of second-placed Ajax, win their first league crown in seven years.
Heerenveen midfielder Joey van den Berg had joked earlier in the week that he would be willing to concede the points for 10 of crates of beer and the PSV supporters duly delivered.
In a bid to convince Dwight Lodeweges' team to give them the win, a group of fans drove north to Heerenveen and dropped 20 crates - with 12 bottles in each - off at the stadium.
Van den Berg, though, did not immediately accept the offer as he wants to hear what Ajax are willing to offer to persuade them to beat PSV and keep the title race alive for another week.
"Actually, I am still waiting for a bid from Ajax, but that is not yet in," he joked to Heerenveen TV.

Depressing as hell that CNN understand more about the club than most of our fans and media do
Great article though.

So best (only) way out of this is if someone buys the club from Mike Ashley it seems.
Why don't all the fans and I mean all of them, just boycott 5 games in a row. That would attract attention no doubt and Ashley will get scrutinized like never before. He'll have to act then!!

Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. II
There's a boycott on Saturday, how many fans actually do it is another thing entirely.
Problem is the fanbase is divided between people like me and people like " support the team not the regime, get behind the lads !"
It's difficult to put the owner under pressure when the fans are not behind each other.

Must be maddening as a supporter. You guys should be challenging the top 6 every season. At some point as a fan you have to think about who you're actually supporting.

Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. II
Well i can't really say that because that top 6 challenging team has really died ever since Ashley became the owner.
But i have questioned that many times, some fans find it difficult though. I mean they have been going since they were children and it's really difficult for them to move away.
Loveless marriage is really a great term, but in the end sometimes you have to take drastic measures to ensure a brighter future.

I don't know has this been posted earlier, but Andrea Dossena was caught shoplifting from Harrods

I also had no idea he was playing for Leyton frigging Orient. Explains why he has to retain his lifestyle by shoplifting the expensive stuff

Police have said no further action will be taken against ex-Premier League footballer Andrea Dossena after he was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting from Harrods.
The Leyton Orient defender and a 31-year woman were arrested on 7 April.

Kyle Walker
I wasn't going to comment on the rumours going around about myself and my family but as people are still talking about them, I feel I need to set the record straight.
I am aware of a video being shared on social media and am disgusted by the suggestion that it's anything to do with us.
With so many young people on social media I am horrified that content of that nature has been shared so many times.
My legal team are monitoring the activity surrounding this.
