Why isn't xcx banned? He doesn't even contribute anything anymore, he just talks utter malarky for the sake of it

Mourinho gave Pellegrini a tactical lesson.
And Hazard has the best close control of the ball in the world imo. Outstanding performance from him today

A deserved win for Chelsea. They broke down City's game really well, you seldom see City's strikers so isolated.
City also needed to pass it quicker, every player dwelling on the ball too much.
What a title race it's turning out to be!

About what? We're top of the league now and the most fearsome team in the EPL just lost at home. I'm more confident in our chances than I was before the gamethe xcx wrote:Arsenal fans must be scared by now.

100% needed to play quicker, early in the first half I was just watching in awe at how much they dominated us but they just dropped off and let us back into the game.

I would not write off City just by yet, Id reckon it will be a close match against Barcelona. Could go either way.

Damn it that draw with WBA hurts even more. Could've been 6 points behind Arsenal with them coming to Anfield
Kolo still got allegiances to Arsenal, Arsene gave him a call the night before.

I blame Demichelis
Only he could leave a hole in midfield so wide, Hazard's giant arse glides through with the utmost of ease

The mere notion you had a chance of top 3 is
Focus on getting that 4th spot brah, the top 3 are in a league of their own.

Don't underestimate how Arsenal just falter versus United out of pure happen-stance, Mole.
Hilarious to think that they will trouble Arsenal more than what LFC will in Anfield, I predict.

If they lose to Moyes again
Your right though Arq, they are the bogey team for them.
Really the only game they SHOULD drop points is away to Pool but wouldn't surprise me in the lose to Man Yoo and beat Pool.

There wasn't much in it last time round. One flukey goal from RVPussycat and all because King Mertesacker wasn't playing
I expect things will be different this time round

We'll be the only team this season that doesn't get any joy out Man Utd.
In any case, we could draw against Liverpool and United, which aren't terrible results, and beat Sunderland, but won't be top by virtue of City and Chelsea picking up nine points. Cannot see either of them dropping points against that lot.

Bogey team or not, Utd are playing so abysmal I really wouldn't expect anything but a win.
Don't forget probably about 50% of their players are performing in a way as to get their manager the boot.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
We're Arsenal's bogey team. But still, I think they will beat us convincingly this time. We are shocking with 0 confidence atm.
I think they can get something at Anfield, they have a good record there. Wins against United and Sunderland.
I think they will get atleast 7 points from those 3 fixtures, which is not too bad.

I can see arsenal beating us by 3/4 maybe more, you honestly just have to go and we'll make the mistakes for you

Man City shouldn't play Yaya and Demichelis again together. Demichelis lacks vision, he's slow and only good defensively. A team like Bayern or Barca would easily play around that midfield. It was too open as well defensively, since Silva looks to move to the middle and it was due to that Ivanovic had space to score.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
Arsenal, quite simply are Liverpool's bogey team. There is not a team I fear more than Arsenal (Wenger) when it comes to LFC as all the years of Wenger mastering us and Henry destroying our defence has instilled a core mentality to which only resonates conviction whether at Emirates or Anfield.
It even goes beyond Rafa's struggle against Wenger as even under Evans, Houllier and Kenny we struggled versus the Gunners as the only win was through Frimpong jeopardizing their whole game with a red card to which we won rather narrowly.
Which is why my fury on the West Brom draw was inconsolable as not only we seem to lose points just before we face Arsenal, yet we lose the cushion that can be produced in risk of dropping points at Arsenal.
Anfield or no, the place is no fortress as seeing the difference between the sides, Arsenal is a superior team in all compartments, collectively.
