Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
So, after a deadline day that lacked any big signings, there's a weekend of football taking place.
Today's games:
Tyne-Wear derby
19th Century Time-Travellers v Swansea
Cardiff v Norwich
Everton v Aston Villa
Fulham v Southampton
Hull v Tottenham
Stoke v ManU
West Ham, Cardiff and Fulham, the three teams in the relegation zone, all with home games against other mid-to-low-table teams (we should get a collective name for teams outside the top-8 ), if some of them fail to win today, well, it's baaaaaaad.
Tottenham and ManU in away games where there's potential to slip up, here's hoping they do, emphatically.
Horses are in danger of getting punched should Newcastle lose the derby on top of their disappointing transfer window.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
I'm assuming all Altidore needed was Sunderland signing a 4th forward, good lord, he's on fire today. That's the third long ball where his hold up play and anticipation with a deft touch has led to the break.

Also, Alonso for Sunderland has been an instant stud. I don't think I've seen him play a bad game yet.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V6
I turned it off after 5 mins knew what was coming.
Pardew in gutless, coward shocker.
This is going to be our 3rd loss in a row to these inbred c*nts which hasn't happened since the 20s.
Yet Pardew is less likely to get sacked than Wenger, club is a joke in every facet.
