Don't mind Lucas starting after what was an excellent performances last game. He has been below-par this season yet this should be the platform to turn his leaf.

Brilliant burst and pass by Hendo to Sterling who doesn't actually screw up in the final 3rd for once. Suarez blocked while Cou's left-footed rebound sliced left. Looking strong so far.

Sakho poor on not forcing Noone to his right while Mignolet makes an excellent save on his oncoming curler from the left.

Cardiff's plan of defending deep and catching on a counter-break can work if we are too lax in the midfield.

A little too focused on the attack. You can't have only the CBs there to recover on counter attacks... need one of the fullbacks and a mid to help too at least.

Actually arqi, as a CB i can tell you that you cover wide if there's no fullback there since the only help is back in the middle. The idea is to always funnel a player where you have help. Need to be much closer to the sideline to use that as a defensive tool.

What you say does make sense, Sports as I forget the role of Sakho in ordinance to the fullbacks and more specifically; his role in this system.

Though Sakho being excellent for his during his Liverpool career, can be prone to some occasional concentration lapses, maybe product of his communication barrier.

LUIS SUAREZ WHAT A GOAL!!!!!!

Jordan Henderson combines with Luisito to bring Suarez into the box with another pass (in the form of a wonderful chip) while Suarez absolutely corrals the volley into the left side past the Cardiff GK. Perfect technique.

Anfield roaring his chant in appreciation. Seems to be thriving on the new contract pressure.

Henderson is near telepathic with Suarez since the last game.

Henderson makes a brilliant outside-foot pass to catch Suarez, Coutinho and Sterling on the break with a free run. Luis carries it 30 yards into the box with a lateral pass to Sterling who taps it in. Very selfless of Suarez.

SUAREZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flanagan passes to Suarez who faces tight space in the left corner of the box and passes to Henderson who makes a brilliantly timed backheel to Suarez who without a touch curls it ADP style into the right side of the net.

Absolutely brilliant.

Henderson with 2 assists now. 3-0. Fantastic.

Best player in the EPL

Cardiff getting this horribly wrong. Parking the bus vs us never works. Should've instead persisted with normal football, playing through the midfield and they wouldn't have been in so much trouble. They're playing so deep.. they're literally playing with 10 defensive players and 1 forward.

Cardiff started to press after the first goal resulting in a higher line. The decreased organization of that defence is what caused us to exploit them on the break further, actually.

Suarez our best but like last match, Henderson is the unsung hero in both matches as in the absence of Gerrard he has been absolutely brilliant.

honestly i have no idea what BR is going to do when Gerrard and Sturridge return, who gets omitted, our midfield and strikers are gelling right now and are playing great.

If we could finish this 6-0 i would be over the moon, right now a clean sheet is what matters plus a goal or two.

Allen and hendo both been just brilliant, their movement, creating space all the time time for all other players. Allen doing a great job sometimes bringing the ball forward. Other players need to have more belief in Allen when he comes forward with the ball. Allen :bow:

Johnson just completely just goes completely blank so often. It's like he has no brain cells. His tunnel vision :facepalm:
