Manchester United vs Waxtap | CL Group Stage | 10/12/13 |
Interesting fixture. The first game was lauded as a great result for the team/Moyes after taking a point at the notoriously tough Donbass Arena, which is fair enough. However, this is the team that Leverkusen stomped 4-0, they're terribly overrated and away from home nothing special, I expect an emphatic win, especially with a refreshed Rooney. No excuses for anything but 3 points tonight. (Except maybe dat midfield, and if Moyes starts Fellaini then RIP)
would like to see
DDG
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Jones Clevs
Valencia Rooney Januzaj
RVP

Evra and Vidic are doubts so we're most likely going to see Buttner and Ferdinand in the team
Valencia is whack still don't want to see him, Kagawa or Nani instead. RVP didn't look 100% on Saturday, and played longer than Moyes wanted him to, so hopefully he doesn't play a full 90 mins again.

I think Valencia's performances have been inflated because Emre Can played left-back which isn't his natural position.

Re: Manchester United vs Waxtap | CL Group Stage | 10/12/13 |
we should rest van persie so that he will be 100% fit for the villa match next week. Remember we have 4 easy games on a trot now in the PL. We need rvp in those games so that he can score some goals and get back the rhythm.
Moyes must show some guts and start fabio on the left back. The whole world knows he is our future in the position, not a stupid Dutch guy.
Will be the ideal time to show some rebuilding for the future.
I will go with considering we have already qualified.

Team:De Gea, Rafael, Rio, Evans, Buttner, Giggs, Jones, Januzaj, Kagawa, Young, Rooney
Just avoid looking at the left side of the pitch tonight.

If Young has any decency and any self respect, he'll retire from United at HT.

Jonesssssssssssssssssssssss!
good players come on pitch, score a goal...who would of thought!
Kagawa, Rooney, RVP need to be first names on the team sheet each week

Tale of 2 halves. Waxtap could have easily been 3 or 4 up at HT.
Good result in the end, great finish from Jones. Moyes undefeated in the CL

Re: Manchester United vs Waxtap | CL Group Stage | 10/12/13 |
Thank God Shaktar have awful finishers otherwise we would have been 3 or 4 goals down. But we had two guilt edge chances ourselves in the 1st half, shame they both fell to that scrub, Young.
2nd half we vastly improved. Players looked like they gave a shet and put in more effort. We're still a bit off the pace, but job done and we ran out as group winners. Moyes deserves credit for achieving this feat.
Jones MOTM. A leader.

I think I would spontaneously combust with joy if that were to happen. Win the CL and in doing so qualify for it at the expense of LFC? Oh my...

Teams we can face in R16:
Galatasaray, Olympiakos, Schalke, Zenit St Petersburg or Milan
Not bad, eh Could have been worse if Borussia Dortmund finished second, Juve qualified or Man City scored one more goal meaning Bayern Munich finished second

Gods been kind
Zenit no btw. To go and win there in a freezing Russia can be tricky especially if the first leg is at OT and if we wont put up a performance in that.
Will graciously accept the 2 Turkish sides (Gala will also be hard, true) and Schalke. Struggling Milan will still be hard.

Zenit got smashed by Austria Wein ffs
don't care where they play we went to Ukraine and got a result vs a actual decent side, Zenit are the biggest flops in europe with the money they spend they are horrible.
