Re: Bendtner to BvB
Well, "confirmed enough" for this forum.
Everyone on here seems to make a "confirmed" thread about every unconfirmed transfer, lol.
I guess it's quantity of threads over quality...

You're certainly not the only one. Arsenal and Dortmund are comparable, except Dortmund's squad is even younger, they actually win trophies, and have guaranteed Champions League football next season. The better club at this moment in time is quite clear.
Do you know what Arsenal can do to Dortmund, Arsenal will rape those young kids .

Re: Bendtner to BvB
Lol @ Arsenal fans being sympathetic and sorry towards Bendtner.
Borussia are a great team, not saying that they're better than Arsenal
But they are the German champions so its not really a ridiculous comparison
Germany have 4 cl spots now, shouldnt be too troubling for them to qualify regularly
there is 6 teams in england now fighting for 4 cl spots
Living and playing football in Germany would suit a Dane better anyway

So I guess he rejected offers from Barcelona, Man United and Real Madrid. Such a shame.

Re: Bendtner to BvB
Since Klopp has taken over at Dortmund, I have had such respect for their transfer policies and their style of play.
I remember writing a bit about them in the "Goal.com" New Rules I did. I truly wish the best for BvB, and I hope they stick to their current philosophy.
I think clubs like BvB are exactly what is "right" with football.

€10 million!!! I think it's bit too much. Any way, I think he will do better with BvB.

Bendtner is not bad. For someone of his size he has good skill. The problem is his attitude. With klopp there, he will soon understand you cant give an attitude

Re: Bendtner to BvB
Bendtner only look clumsey because he plays in arsenal! put him in other teams that use the traditional big man in the centre, and suddently he will look like Maradona. A lot of us seem to forget that he single handedly kept us in the top four, and latter stages of CL prior to last season. He will thrive in Germany.

Re: Bendtner to BvB
Newcastle have already signed Marveaux, Ba and Cabaye so far this summer. Calm down lol.
Don't get why Newcastle fans are so desperate for another striker when they'll probably be playing 4-3-3 next season anyway.

Demba Ba, Best and Ameobi is our list of strikers so yes it is.
One quality CF will appease me though considering we will be playing 4-2-3-1, 4-4-1-1,4-3-3 or 4-5-1 next season.
All Pardew has to do to please is sign a striker, winger and a lb but i highly doubt that will happen at this stage.
@ Gil
Yep and Cabaye is the only real improvement to the team that started last season.
We are desperate because outside of Demba Ba we have freaking Leon Best and Shola Ameobi and Demba Ba is'nt exactly the most reliable of player's.

Re: Bendtner to BvB
On the verge of moving to Sporting Lisbon
https://goallegacy.forumotion.com/t3399p60-bendtner-to-bvb?highlight=BendtnerNicklas Bendtner is set for a fresh start away from Arsenal as the Denmark striker closes in on a £9m move to Sporting Lisbon.
The Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger, last week revealed the 23-year-old had been given permission to miss the friendly against Cologne and training camp in Germany "to sort out his future".
Bendtner, pushed further down the pecking order following the arrival of the Ivory Coast forward Gervinho, was photographed in Portugal and is expected to push through the formalities of his move over the weekend.
Two other Arsenal players who look set to miss the Emirates Cup – which will see Thierry Henry return to the club with New York Red Bulls – are the captain, Cesc Fábregas, and Theo Walcott.
Fábregas, who remains the subject of a £30m transfer bid by Barcelona, has not featured at all during pre-season, training with the youth squad this week as he works on a hamstring injury, which, officially at least, has been the reason for his extended absence.
Walcott, meanwhile, was sent home early from Germany because of a niggling ankle complaint, with the results of scans expected to reveal whether or not the England forward will be in contention for the start of the new domestic season in a fortnight.
