Re: The Walking Dead II
I find it annoying how Maggie only gives a shit about Glenn and not her sister Beth. She never says "Oh I hope Beth is alive somewhere, i have to find her" Instead it's all glenn and i don't think she has even mourned about her dad lol? unlike Beth who did.

Re: The Walking Dead II
Glenn got more close to her in recent times so it's understandable.
Hopefully this 'Terminus' place advances the actual storyline.
Also Beth.

Re: The Walking Dead II
Entertaining episode.
Couple of WTF moments though.
-How the heck did manage Darryl manage to evade those Zombies in such a confined space? Either these Zombies are completely useless or the main characters have super human abilities which enable them to dodge and kill zombies like they are nothing. They make killing these zombies look so easy I'm thinking why even bother running from them? I reckon Darryl could take an entire flock on his own.
- Why did Darryl open that door so nonchanantly the 2nd time? You would think someone with the common sense should have known better, to atleast be more alert. I know he prolly thought it was the dog again, but he should've atleast checked through the blinds. Stupidly careless by him.
- Maggie resting in the middle of that open area, just chilling was ridiculously stupid. Surrounded by Zombies too. Her excuse was that she knew Sasha would come for her. Kinell, like what are the odds of that? That she would risk her life and place all her faith, at that moment in time, that Sasha would notice her.
- Either Bob is the slowest walker on earth or Sasha and Maggie walk in lightning speed + are equipped with GPS in their brains. How did they catch up to Bob so quickly, and when did they decide to atleast grab his attention? After a 100 yards or so, they could have atleast hollered his name. But no, they wanted to be as close as possible before getting his attention. lol.
- Beth, despite being injured, managed to get some distance on her and magically...voala, there was a car out of nowhere that whisked her away. Perfect timing/ bad luck or w/e you wanna call it.
Enjoyable episode, if you ignore all the dumb moments.

Re: The Walking Dead II
There's a lot of those problems in most of the episodes, but I think it has to be accepted that not everyone is always 100% alert. People get really emotional and that affects what they do.

No one is 100% alert in a Zombie apocalypse? Especially in strange surroundings in the middle of the night?
Realistically, anyone would be a paranoid freak. There can be no excuses for dropping your guard in a situation like that when yours and someone elsea life is on the line.

I think this is a great point. I find that is just........... Maggie doesn't give a single F about her blood.

Re: The Walking Dead II
My main problem/concern is their insistence on using close combat melee weapons like knifes, screwdrivers etc. If it were me, I'd be pulling all the Dead Rising gusto I could, taping scissors to the end of golf clubs and stuff, creating as much distance from me and a walker as I could

Also wtf was up with Sasha running two city blocks to warn Maggie about the zombies instead of just shouting out?

Nah the walkers were already rising when she broke the window so she had to run to help Maggie. Wasn't warning her

Another episode without Rick
Tbh, I didn't think things would be this slow after the mid-season episode.

Yeh that's the main problem. The majority of characters are too sentimental. But then again without it the show may struggle. If everyone is always 100%, then they would kill every walker, do everything right and they probably wouldn't struggle as much. I don't really think that's the point of the show though. The drama matters a lot.

Re: The Walking Dead II
Question for you guys; what sort of person do you think you'd be in similar setting? (zombie apocalypse) I found myself wondering the same thing when I thought aloud "the things I'd do if I came across Beth in a zombie apocalypse"
Don't adopt a superhero persona, just be honest, do you think you'd do anything you had to for survival (including killing other people for supplies and stuff), search for other survivors/help people out even at risk of your own life, or just cause chaos.
Using this system
http://easydamus.com/alignment.html
I'd probably be Chaotic Neutral
Obviously it's impossible to know exactly because your experiences shape you as a person and I'm not expecting anyone to come out and say they'd be indiscriminately killing etc, since yeah, they'd be psychopaths, so I guess I'm basically just asking what you think you'd be capable of doing in a zombie apocalypse.

Yeah, don't have to use that site, I just used those as an example of personality types.
Honestly, if I had to pick a character I'd be similar to it'd be Shane.

Meh I've always been a leader in everything I've ever done. Think it'll probably be more or less the same way in a zombie apocalypse. However, think I'll be more of a Shane-type leader than a Rick-type leader. Do absolutely everything to have me and mine survive. Everything else is fair game.

A mixture of chaotic good "rebel", neutral "undecided" and chaotic neutral "free spirit".
Don't really agree with all the laws, however always care about what's right. Don't care about fitting in/what the rest of society does, not sheep. Also independent, don't really care what others do.

Re: The Walking Dead II
Wouldn't care about the old laws, would not hesitate to kill people who were a danger, but nah I wouldn't go about killing your average person just because they had supplies. I'd try to join them or whatever.
Would like to lead over a small group in such an event.
However, most people if they were truely desperate I.E Dying of thirst/starvation would do awful things to feed themselves and their family/friends.
But if I wasn't desperate. I'd be a bit on the good side, with a tad of the lawful evil as I would have my own limits but not the sort of superhero limits you see people have in zombie films, where they make disgustingly 'heroic' decisions that end up screwing them and their group over.
Shane had it right imo, he is a good type of person to be.

Re: The Walking Dead II
LOL at some of you "I would be like Shane!"....why would you want to have murderous thoughts about your best friend over his wife...I.E. be one volatile individual that most people wouldn't like to be around because you have no freaking clue what is going to happen next.
I would try my utmost to be true to my instincts even if it leads to horrible outcomes that I could possibly regret...I would never try to be like another person.

Nah, in terms of his survival instincts and willing to do what he had to, within reason
Murdering your friend and sleeping with his wife isn't a personality trait. That's just an individual thing.

wtf already. ffs
Saw the preview for the next episode. It looks brutal. Hopefully the last 3 episodes are actually related to the storyline and not fillers.
