The area just outside Juve's box is truly awful, but if Juve can get the ball past there, they will have a good chance to score.

I'm not sure what Juve and Gala are playing there. Football it ain't. Maybe mud wrestling?

Do any of you see this as a foul? Clear shove from Garcia, definitely looks like there was a lot of force in it. The .gif does not show it, but the context is that Thiago went past Fernandinho and then Garcia. That ended up starting the play for their third goal.
I assume that is what VivaStPauli meant:VivaStPauli wrote:and the Milner goal even directly followed a foul the ref didn't see
Yes it is, and it wasn't the only weird call from the ref. Spent most of the match shouting at the screen in unison with the entire rest of the pub I was watching in. Hence my point of view that one shouldn't read too much into this Bayern loss. Took the foot off the petal after 20 mins, didn't need a win, ref was ridiculous - all three arguments are very valid.
The penalty was very, very, very soft as well, could've been given, but then Bayern should've had one as well.
we didn't lose because of refereeing yesterday, we lost because City were the much better team after we ceded possession, momentum and control of the game to them after 15 min.

Re: Champions League: Match-day 6
Juves are struggling in the rugby field where galtasaray have goal chances every other minutes.... it seems they are quite used to playing rugby...

Bayern is still the strongest team to beat.....I doubt anything has changed because of last night's lose. Dont understand why are you making pathetic arguments....VivaStPauli wrote:Pippo wrote:Just saw the other angles of the decisions made in the Bayern-City game. What's pathetic about stating simple facts? I can understand why you wouldn't want any contact with current reality, being a supporter of a has-been team and all, but that doesn't make it less true.

The simple fact is we lost, and complainig about referees is NEVER a helpful or sensible thing to do.
(Except for that Ovrebo Chelsea thing, maybe)
