I feel like you could put almost any single player into the Bayern machine right now and they'd look good. I think his reputation benefited from that.

You think so? I find him to be like a less talented, much more selfish version of Hazard. He has good ball control but makes very poor decisions and often tries to do it all himself. At the World Cup I think he had maybe one good game? In the others aside from some very ambitious shots I didn't think he was very good at all.

I just don't think he's a smart enough player to make use of his physical/technical abilities and he's not talented enough to do it all himself as he so often tries to.
