Nasri likely to Stay
...is the news in L'Equipe this morning. While Arsenal received offers from both Utd and City, the talks Nasri had with wenger since wednesday have proved enough to convince him to stay and to see out his contract; he will likely renew (I guess that might be contingent of how well Arsenal recruit).
Gervinho is about to land in Arsenal but wont go on Tour. L'Equipe announces that Arsenal is done recruiting attacking players, as Nasri will fill the void left open by Cesc in the middle, a position he covets.
Also, Wenger is planing to recruit a midfielder (i guess a DM or B2B) and a CB, as he plans to move Vermaelen on the left.

L'Equipe says Nasri now likely to stay at #AFC for one more year after talks w/ Wenger. Won't sign new deal, but been told Cesc is off

Re: Nasri likely to Stay
Im curious to see who the midfielder and defender will be.
Not exactly trophy winning signings imo.
@beautiful, Cissokho is most likely going to Liverpool, i dont think Arsenal was linkd to him. Lyon is already looking at Tremoulinas to replace him.

I hope we sign Cissokho was it reported in L'Equipe? Saw something reported in french football website but is there any credible report linking him with us?
Some reports in England are saying Cahill is closing in on signing for Arsenal with a youngster going other way.So he is probably the defender not sure about the midfielder though.

Arsene Wenger says Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri are not for sale and will be at Arsenal next season as well as confirming Gervinho signing.

Re: Nasri likely to Stay
really hope we can get Momo Diarra. He will be free and is only 30, vast amount of experience plus a very good player.
if not him then maybe Melo if juve are getting vidal or someone else. Melo for less then 15m would be a good deal.
Wont mind Moussa Sissokho either but thats a longshot.
As for CB, it will be Cahill i think

Why would you honestly move Vermaelen left back?!
