It makes perfect sense, but it would require Marcelo to be rooted out of the position he was so good in and he would have to acclimatise to RB. His partnership with Marcelo would also be destroyed.

defending: I say Marcelo but ppl still think Marcelo is shit at defense so alves

Most Alves assists/goals are 1-2-1-2 and its simply becouse of the possesion football. I also agree that Alves isn't so good as ppl make him look. we will see now in brazil how he is once the possession is gone and so far he has been bad

Pretty bold statement to make. I'm not calling you out on it or anything but what you see in Marcelo that makes him better than Alves in everything as other than Real Madrid and Marcelo admirers, one really doesn't see such a phrase too often.

This really makes sense tbh, im surprised i didnt think of it before

Marcelo is always cutting in and it isnt rare to see him in the middle of the field

I just hope he can make a smooth transition
