Well, we beat Atalanta 3-0 which is a flattering scoreline. Goals from Kaka (x2) and Cristante.

Inter vs Lazio going on now, 65 mins 0-0.

I went over to a Macedonian Football Forum and a Milan fan wrote ' Ohh what a move from Matri am I dreaming ?? ' and some comments in same style so I wanted to ask Smile

and what that exactly be? don't go into that road because that put a question mark close to scudetto juve will probably win this year if thats not already after numerius questionable calls from refs.

what questionable calls ? 2 deserved red cards is questionable calls, get over it you lost in a fair and square game. Currently there is no team in Serie A capable of mounting scudetto challenge that's the reality and the truth no matter how bad it sounds.

McLewis wrote:Firstly, congrats to Juve a job well done. Conte won the tactical battle against Garcia clearly. That aside, Juve were indeed superior to Roma last night. They reminded us why they are champions and the team to beat in the league. I could care less about how they did in the CL as that's a different monster altogether.

Secondly, I'm not disappointed that we lost. I'm disappointed at how we lost. We lost the mental battle last night. We were just like any other team that comes into that stadium after the first 15 minutes. And if we want to truly win the title, a statement needed to be made by Roma. Unfortunately, the wrong statement was made last night: Roma are not ready to challenge Juventus, let alone beat them for the title.

What most disappointed me was the behavior of our senior players. Totti and DDR, our 2 more senior players, failed to lead this side. DDR especially lost his head and deserved the multi-match ban that he has coming to him. It's unacceptable to see red like that in a match of this multitude when your team is looking to you to lead. Totti's pre-match jabbing at Juve came back to bite him in the ass as well as he could not back up his talk and was all, but snuffed out by Juve's midfield and defense. Lastly, I was disappointed with De Sanctis' comments after the game. It's a bit innocuous that Juve are the only side in Italy who were able to cut a deal and build their own stadium, thus putting them into a position to earn more money and thus build a better squad than everyone else. Let's forget about that for the moment. From what I saw of that first 15 minutes, we were better than them and had we kept our heads for the 90, this game could've remained tight enough for us to knick it. The difference was that Juve are a mentally stronger and more mature team than Roma right now. They are the all-conquering big brother of Serie A and we are the impish little brother trying to pretend we're as good as them.

As much as it pains me to say it, Roma got put in their place last night. They needed to be after so many had grown such big heads about making a scudetto run. This team is not ready for that and it showed glaringly last night. To end an unbeaten streak like that is simply embarrassing.

Thank you

i can say at least 4 point juve got was the result of ref decisions , cut them down and the gap will be 4 point , still title competition what decisions

Can't blame everything on referees. Yes, we've been hard done by on a few occasions this season, but largely, we've had our destiny in our own hands.

What if we hadn't drawn all of those games? We wouldn't have to worry about Juve or Napoli breathing down our necks because we would be out of sight of them already.

Like I said, this loss was Roma's fault and Roma's fault alone.

Was that before or after the DDR drop kick? or the volleyball return?

and in what world were the two challenges you pictured above the same? not even remotely the same

For the challenges, they are different.

Chillini went in with one leg, while DDR went on with two, which is illegal to do.

Also, stop shedding tears over ref calls. McLewis called it; you had your games in your own hand and did not need to be in this situation. Crying about it just makes is sad.

Walter Mazzari wrote:"The defeat comes after a tough game. Lazio remained compact, the pitch wasn't perfect - it wasn't easy, but it was a balanced game,"

"Matches so well-balanced can also be decided on the right or wrong decisions of the officials. There was a clear penalty and a red card for a foul on Rolando from Dias. I don't attack referees for mistakes but, if you ask me, they committed two errors today.

"They were only good on the ball in the second half and won thanks to a great player like Klose."

Post by Robespierre Mon Jan 06, 2014 11:05 pm

Our season is finished now .
6th of January.
Now 4 months of agony .. Too much frustrating
It' s the exact replay of the last season , I can't think we will play soon against Juve to Torino and Fiorentina to Firenze  we'll collapse again and even Milan will overcome us in the table.
I prefer not comment Mazzarri who cries for referees, he is the usual , I hated when he did so also to Napoli .
Yes probably there was a penalty on Rolando ( this year 0 penalties still , lol ) but I don't care after this horrible match I would rather know how he thought to win today against a derelict squad as Lazio, what game 's style ...
Anyway we can get out of mediocrity only if we go back to spend, but I have doubts about the intentions of Thohir.

Stay off the drugs, he was trying to do the same to bonnucci and simply got out muscled, all that punched in the face nonsense is just that, nonsense. And you cant simply say it was the same challenge and make it so, chiellini went in with one leg, de rossi drop kicked him with two. you got whooped, plain and simple.

A switch between the two is hardly such a laughing matter given that Prandelli and Allegri are very similar coaches in both substance and quality, it would certainly make sense from the point of view of continuity if the FIGC are satisfied with Prandelli's project.

This being said, he is not my first choice replacement for Prandelli, however there have been some far worse names mentioned in connection with the top job.
