Oleg Luzhny has called Liverpool and Spurs target Yevhen Konoplyanka a "headless chicken" who is not suited to Premier League football.
Looks like Dnipro owner Ihor Kolomoyskyi may take some persuading to sell Konoplyanka. He's a multi-billionaire and doesn't need to sell.
According to a source in Ukraine, Liverpool have upped their offer for Konoplyanka to 19.4m euros. Prepared to pay him £60k-a-week.
This source in Ukraine also claims Spurs are out of the race, but that Liverpool now face competition from an unnamed German side.

I think I read just the other day from somewhere that Reina is expected back at Liverpool after the season.

If Courtois returns to Chelsea maybe Atletico could be interested in him, I dunno.

I will say that I hope we try and loan Javi Garcia if Fernando Reges goes to City. I think he'll be a great replacement for Lucas (still think NDJ would be perfect, but no chance), and probably the only player "available".  

Might get a lot of stick for that, but he's not making it at City cause he cant play a 4222. He needs to play as the single pivot, and judging from his time at Benfica, he can play an anchor role (which is probably the closest thing to a "controller" that Rodgers looks for) for us which means we can go back to 433 (1-2 midfield).

I do not have any problem with Javi Garcia, I think he was a pretty decent player at Benfica, but whenever I have seen him at City, he looked a mess. But who knoes BR might be able to put him back on track

Find it hard to believe he'd be making that much at freaking Dnipro... If he is, though, we shouldn't go above that, even that £100k/week feels too much for someone who has never played outside of Ukraine.
