yes I understand but my point was u said Bayern will probably never come back to spain to buy a player after Martinez situation, but they did, a year later, to buy out another playerhalamadrid2 wrote:Thiago was a weird freak case. A fck up by Rossell
the minimum buyout clauses for club regulars with bright futures are at least €30 millions at nearly all clubs. And if you want to buy them thats what you have to pay unless the club is desperate for cash in which case they will accept negotiations
Teams like Sociedad and Bilbao are very very well run so they point at the buyout clauses if you want one of their players
meaning they could give 0 shits what clubs in spain think of them they will keep coming back

Bayern didn't pay Thiago's buy-out clause. Because Bayern and Barca want to keep a good relationship and Barca don't hold players hostage, Bayern offered a bit more than Thiago's buyout clause and Barca accepted. Thiago's buyout clause was actually € 18M. Bayern offered € 24M + € 1M. They didn't activate his buyout clause.

b-mac small teams dont have the same mentality as Barca/Madrid. buying from the big two is like buying from any normal club outside of Spain. They dont give a rats ass what the other clubs in the league have endured.
those other teams will treat Bayern just like Bilbao aka force them to pay 50% income tax (which isnt even beneficial to the selling club). So instead of 30 mill they are going to have to pay 45 and instead of 35, 52 and a half and so on. Bayern are just not going to go through all that hassle after completely demolarising their reputation in their handling of the Martinez buy. its going to be too much money which isnt going to be worth it either
This is the only law/rule that has been beneficial to small clubs LFP have ever done. Big teams are only gling to buy their players if they desperately need them and the clubs are going to get a good return on them

Herrara never wanted to leave unlike thiago who wanted out as was not ever going to get in over xavi and iniseta so it made sense for the guy to go and play more in germany as his coach is pep so they will have an understanding in styles and playing already in place but herrara at man utd will not go ahead as he probably found out that sir alex left and now new era under a other manager
