As cheesy as it sounds, it feels like has grown up a bit with this signing. After several years of hard work from the club ensuring that the business side thrived, we've finally signed a world class player using our own money. It's a big step towards achieving that "super club" status.

I hope that now we've got the first big money signing over the line, we'll be more able and more willing to make similar moves in the future.

For now, though, I'm going to enjoy this signing. I can't wait to see him play in an Arsenal shirt and link up with the likes of Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky and Cazorla. We've been lacking that x-factor in attack since Fabregas left and Özil will bring that back.

You've got give massive credit to Wenger and the club for pulling this off. They saw the opportunity was there, they knew they had to pay a big fee and they went and did it. All that talking about how they could pay a big fee and how they would if the player was worth it... well, they finally did it.

I'm so bloody happy right now.

Walcott will be the new Cristiano Ronaldo.

The only negative to this move is, if Ozil doesnt dominate, Wenger isnt spending over 13m ever again lol
