People often say that he is only a poacher, that other than goals he adds nothing, which is not true.

I agree, but I'm not sure if it's because of his ability or that he is generally disliked as a person for some reason. Either way, I don't understand it at all.

Scoring more "difficult" goals doesn't make you a better finisher but I'm sure that is stating the obvious...

I kinda agree with Valkyrja on this one, Ronaldo as a player isnt underrated but his footballing skills are. He is more than a poacher and there is more to his game other than goals.

True but there are players that can score wonder goals but still miss an open goal from two meters out.

Finishing is a mental skill, it isn't one that is purely based on talent (although obviously the more talented you are in shooting the better)
