Well i think AVB will prefer Paulinho as his B2B option, Dembele will still get lots of games though.

Spurs have the depth to attack every cup competition and finish top 4 without losing out on quality much.

Dembele has a chronic hip problem and hardly plays a full game these days anyway. It's best he isn't playing week in week out/ playing all 90 minutes every game he plays because that caused a lot of problems for him last year.

He'll still get a lot of game time though as Moal said.

Dembele was Spurs best player at that time, before he got injured and then AVB was forced to build the team around Bale after Christmas.

Ask any Spurs fan ffs, besides they have spent over 100m ffs its not that surprising that previous vital players are going to be dropped.

Nobody said he was Spurs best player, the argument was that he was more important.

At the time that wasn't just in the realm of possibility, it was, in my opinion, correct.

We all know what happened later though with Bale, and statements were in turn retracted.

Capoue is such a beast I wish we would experiment with 3 at the back with him as the DM.

We are only after him in the first place cos he has one year left on his contract.It defeats the purpose if he signs a contract extension.And i guess he got to know about it when he made enquiries with United officials.
