Although he's being harsh, and his judgement of Mesut is bad. None of those players were exactly 40Mill were they?

I dont believe any of it, but if available hes worth a lot, 50 mil even. His play making and ability is world class.

mediocre players like podolski or gervinho even at 10 millions are more expensive than Ozil at 40 millions.

If he worked on his conditioning a LOT and could play 90 minutes with ease then i'd say 40Mill is a good price in todays situation.

But, he's too much of a luxury for that type of money as things stand. I'm a fan of his abilities though.

Same reason we don't buy attacking midfielders. We'd need to change our entire system just to fit one in. And I don't think there's an attacking midfielder good enough to warrant a complete system change at a top tier club.

To be fair i understand the decision to sell him. We dont play with a No 10 at all now and him at RW is rather underwhelming.A change of coach can some time make something like this happen.

you guys can really sign someone proven in the other league, like a 7-10 m signing OR a signing like Villa who knows where the net is although old. But i cant figure out any name yet
