They're getting 80m...

They've already spent 60m on Capoue, Chadli, Soldado and Paulinho.

Willian's not included in that. They're also in the hunt for a CB and a LB according to AVB. They're only signing one of Willian or Lamela.

Besides Spurs have cash they are owned by somebody whose net wealth of over 5 billion and they are getting shit tonnes of cash for Bale and of course new tv deal.

They can afford them both easily.... they won't get them both as I can't see Roma selling.

I agree completely. Keeping their stars will show their commitment to the improvement of the club. Selling Lamela at this stage would make no sense whatsoever.

would be a total win for Spurs if they sell Bale for 100M and get Coentrao, Willian, and Lamela out of that.

Real Madrid should of just got Lamela for like a fraction of that cost lol

The Siqueira deal all but proves that the Bale deal is done. Siqueira is gonna be Coentraos replacement who would be part of the Bale deal. Surprised Spurs would want to take on Coentras salary.

you also have to consider the fact that they are not getting all the cash money in one payment (that's my assumption given that payment plans were discussed already).

In any case, it's bad for Roma to sell and it was my understanding that after Osvaldo left, they werent going to sign Lamela to Spurs.

Only their owners can answer cos at this point selling Lamela looks like a dumb ambitionless move.

If you're going to chop and change and rebuild again ,its going to be really hard to get to the top.

And they're not in any sort of crazy debts as far as i know.

I have also read that Spurs have offered him a tempting wage of 4m euros per season.While at Roma he isnt earning anywhere close to that.

for sure, im just mentioning you guys could focus on Jese and not splash 100M on Bale. I am giving you guys a compliment, I think you guys have a great squad as is and don't really think Bale will help it much. Bringing him on will only created allot of clutter and will push other guys out of the starting spot. A guy like Suarez to replace/rotate with Benz would be better actually imo

Yeah, i also think Suarez benching Benzema would have been the best thing for us but Bale will do that.

4231/4222 basically, during the preseason we made a big emphasis on 3 man midfield with a DM and two interiors, modric and Isco. Ozil, benz and CR playing up front. Isco at times could go forward, so 4222 almost, and in defense Ozil would drop from his wing to form a line of 4 with the midfield. The shape isnt rigid, but the ideas are the same all the time.
