Minus the first half hour, a fairly flat, boring performance from us. Perhaps intentional or strategic considering we play 3 times in the next week, but we'll see.

I'd say the latter, we didn't really get out of first gear at all and we didn't need to. Got ourselves an easy win and will go into the villa game while still being fairly fresh.

I tend to agree. No sense in keeping up that first-half intensity in a won game when we have Villa and United in the next 7 days.

Great win first up. very routine but it showed how dangerous we can be, even without Mata.

TBH, Torres does a great job of linking up with his team mates to allow them to score, but sadly, that is not a CF's job. Happy with the result. Bring on Villa!
