Btw Hendo deserves that running midfield spot ahead of Allen. He's done nothing wrong and is better suit for that role, so it'll be very harsh if Rodgers plays his godson ahead of him.

I think Rodgers should be clever here, he can use both of them accordingly. Allen probably not much of a scorer but surely helps to dominate to keep the ball while I see Hendo is more threat near the box

I think calling it an Impressive preseason is a bit of a drag, the victory side we only beat 2 nil would struggle in the 1st division of England. For me we've shown glimpses of quality against really weak teams, but haven't had a superb performance were we've totally dominated and taken most of our chances, we wont be afforded cheap goals and shit defenses in the PL this season.

I think for BR system, we need someone in the middle of the park, so it is always better to play at least one of them

totally totally agree, BR is trying to mould Allen in that advanced role, it just doesnt look natural to him

Sure we have played some shitty teams but the confidence these good results gives the players is unmatchable. If they believe they can win every match and keep a clean sheet on top of it, well hell then no one can stop us but ourselves.

Allen is not creative enough or a goal threat to play the role. The ideal spot for him is Gerrard's position now.
