It has ensured no further approaches by Arsenal are welcome at Anfield.

Liverpool are no longer interested in hearing from Arsenal period, even bids in the previously quoted £50-55m range will likely not be received positively at this point. Arsenal's little (failed) attempt at the footballing equivalent of insider trading has backfired. Arsenal's chances of striking a deal have only dropped, and any chance of an "amicable" deal are completely out the window.
I see. Thanks.

Eriksen doesn't play false 9, he never has. Eriksen is an attacking mid, he always plays as the more pre dominant attacker in the midfield trio as he's not the greatest defender. He's easy to run past.
No, im not.
He played false 9 against City and he also did it vs Feyenoord. Both 2-2 draws.
I apologize, trying to quote from my phone was a mess lol

Why dont I believe that?

He's been a bitch about it (or his agent has - I don't know) but he way Klopp handled it was just top class. Don't know if it's because of Mourinhio that I'm so impressed by this, but I just am.
Klopp wrote:
"Whatever is left to be discussed will be discussed internally," the 46-year-old told reporters.
"The idea is to close this subject. Everything is in order. Nothing has changed since yesterday or the day before yesterday.
"I am convinced we will clear up everything in the coming days."
"For me what he does [on the pitch] is a thousand times more important than what he says, because, what he does needs no interpretation."
Strong, Classy, not putting Lewandowski on blast but still letting him know to end this nonsense. Man keeps his priorities straight.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IX
If this is true, Benitez . Napoli won't be the same after this summer. You'll see different players, with a different attitude and a different style of play. My opinion consists in the fact that the recently arrived players will not represent the fighting spirit which described Napoli in the past. They do not fit with the fans and their expectations.
I am afraid for some players like Inler, Dzemaili, Insigne, because they'll have a hard time with Rafa. They've already been settled to a style of play and I can easily afirm that they have reached perfection in terms of in-game dedication for the team, just because they were playing what they liked and what they wanted.
I don't want to be harsh on this, but Benitez will have a difficult year judging by what he has done after the L'pool era and after all the transfers he has made, I have a feeling that he wants to change a lot of things at the club.
I am not against Gignac, I am against their transfer policy. It is not good to make such an amount of changes at a club which happened to be on the right path.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IX
Joaquin transfer still confuses me, where would he play exactly? Cuadrado plays in his position.
Illicic is nowhere near Ljajic and Gomez is totally different to Jovetic but doesn't provide anywhere near the intelligence but will provide a lot more goals.
They are about where they were tbh if Ljajic gets sold.

Couldn't say it better. Cuadrado is already one the best right midfielders from Serie A. The guy is a pure talent and I can't see what is Fiorentina trying to do with Joaquin. The spanish player isn't enough versatile to be used on other positions, we all know that his yield is at its best when he plays as a right winger.

I still think they're better off
I agee I don't know where the fk they intend to play Joaquin, perhaps they want a new formation. I don't know tbh it baffles me.
But I definitely think they've strengthened
If Rossi can get near his old abilities, then Ljajic was probably getting benched anyway. So yeah I think they've improved. But definitely need another CB because that back 3 in Europe will probably get picked apart.

Think you're underrating Ilicic. Looked like the dogs bollocks alongside Miccoli and Pastore a couple of seasons ago when I had the time to watch Serie A.
Not sure how he's come on since then though so maybe you're right.
Btw, how are they going to fit both SES and Ljajic in the same team if this deal is legit? Both favour the left side of the pitch.

I see where you're coming from Tom its hard to gauge tbh.
Their signings have different strengths and weaknesses to ones they sold.
They could be better for it, they could be worse who knows.
Anyway time for a good laugh.....
Ian McGarry @garbosj
#RMCF expect Bale in Madrid this weekend to finalise his transfer. Fee of around £86m + Morata agreed. #THFC

Yeah Gil and don't forget they'll probably play Honda as the CAM in the 4-2-3-1 so they can't even play SES/Ljajic there.
I have no idea what formation they can use to implement all 3 of those players without at least 1 being sacrificed to a role they're not particularly good in.
And any other formations they have used in the past couple of season would be even worse. I.E 4-3-1-2 and 4-3-3
