IMO, Neymar might reach Ronaldinho's level (2004-2006) with Barcelona! But, he doesn't have the talent to be as good as Messi.

i'm not sure how he could do it. ronaldo isn't exactly handsome (bad complexion and hair etc) but he has a decent body so that can easily make him handsome enough overall.. neymars weird hair isn't anywhere near enough to make him an idiol like becks or ronaldo. he'll have to do something more than that like get buff or something

:lol:That's most probably the most delude post I've read here in a while. Then again you probably didn't watch Messi at all in his youth. Messi was completely different monster, he did things that Neymar will probably never be able to do, and already at 19-20 he was World #2. Neymar isn't close that currently.

Neymar has been touring the Harlem Globetrotters tour with Brazil, playing friendlies against poor countries who rest for qualifiers. Where as Messi has been travelling in every qualifying match from Europe as it was an away match in other side of the world.

Only thing Neymar has been playing good is in Brazil, where thousand year old Seedorf can boss like a god with career best scoring rate, and fat Ronaldinho dominate like no other.

People probably remember how Neymar pwned the couple Mexican scrubs in Confeds and assisted a goal? Here's Messi at 19, doing the same against Cannavaro and Carlos (Ballon d'Or #2), football's only Ballon d'Or defender, 1 month before he received it.

Indeed. Personally I consider neither of the above superstars (Beckham, CRonaldo or Neymar) handsome. On the other hand, you don't need to be an Adonis to play good football, and as tastes differ a lot, there are always people who will find either of them attractive for various reasons. ^^

Ignorance? Dude no one is saying he doesn't have talent, but to compare his talent to Messi at this point and say he's simply not as good is not being ignorant, but realistic. Neymar has not played a single game in Europe, lest you count that CWC final vs barca, and we all know how that went (and that was in japan, lol). Let's let him at least get one european season under his belt before you can accuse us of being "ignorant" by saying he is not at Messi's level. And after that, let's see if his consistency can get even close to Leo's.

I definitely think he can be. With the new Barca setup and fame, if he does well and Barca will look to promote him and make him into a star, why not. He does seem the flashy type of character and his looks are good I think to the ladies which is more important than to our eyes Razz

he's too old for that... beckham was finishing his career when ronaldive took over as the commercial icon, the age gap between ronaldive and neymar isn't big enough for neymar to get as much publicity
