Yeah I've always been good at sports, runs in the family.

Doesn't hurt my father played professional baseball and could field an all star team with existing players he coached in their youth who now play or played in the majors.

I've picked up soccer fairly quickly though, but there is still so much to learn. Also, I don't have my speed any more as I'm starting to get older so that's always fun when you assume you'll just run past someone and realize you don't have that extra gear anymore.

That's the oddity of my soccer league. Everyone is either fresh out of college or in their 40's. I'm one of the few players in their 30's.

Damn it, my team has to do conditioning tomorrow morning with the girls swimming team at 7 AM. Not only does that suck in general, but my ex-gf is on the girls swimming team

I will avoid her and she will (hopefully) avoid me. I expect her to, anyway. Hopefully as captains of our respective teams we won't have to talk much. Funny thing is, one of my friends who is also captain with me has an ex-gf who is the captain of their team as well, and is the best friend of my ex-gf. She hates his guts.

So yeah it's going to be a lot of fun

Never really was interested in another sport other than footy. I wrestled for two years but didn't enjoy it and so I quit. I was halfway decent but I was never going to live up to my brother's success and if I didn't enjoy it I wasn't going to do it.

There is no men's volleyball here and even if there was I'm pretty sure it would collide with footy season so I wouldn't do it, but that's really the only other sport I'd ever consider playing.
