Norwich City
So Norwich seem to be making some cracking signings; Van Wolfswinkel and Leroy Fer are bound to perform and Redmond's a good little player as well.
Considering whacking a bet on for them to get top ten, maybe even top 7, Europe may be a bit of a stretch but what do people reckon on their chances??

Re: Norwich City
Who would they displace from the Europa league spots? Everton? Tottenham? Liverpool?
Top half finish is what they are realistically aiming for. Anything more is a bonus

I have to agree with the man with the awesome avatar. Top half finish and all of Norwich will be ecstatic.

Re: Norwich City
Norwich have a lot of competition with the likes of Swansea, Aston Villa, Southampton etc. Europe might be a bit too much for them

Re: Norwich City
To get Europe in PL you need a top 5 finish or win a cup. No way it's happening.

Re: Norwich City
A few days ago I said that I don't fancy Norwich's chances, but now there's been yet another signing in Fer. They are certainly giving their fans something to get excited about in the off-season. We'll see whether these players are able to perform in the on-season, though.

No chance this season.. all the players won't just go ahead and perform miracles in their first season.

Re: Norwich City
Fight for top half seem's realistic. They've made some great signings thus far. This new TV deal is definitely helping "mid-table" teams progress. It's going to be a lot tighter in top 4 than most expect. Around 80 points or so will win the league I reckon.

Re: Norwich City
On one hand this shows how much you need to invest just to be mid-table in EPL. But Swans & Wigan have shown you can be in Europe even if you are mid-table quality.

Really hope they do well. Certainly one of the EPL teams I prefer.

Re: Norwich City
Van Wolfsvinkel deception ended up off the scale.
I thought Fer played well when I saw him, which wasn't that many times. About the only Norwich player who should be looking for a move to top-flight football, in England or elsewhere.
Hooper might be regretting his move from Celtic. From winning trophies and playing in the CL to the second division in England. Surely his wages are now higher, though.
Redmond might have Premiership quality, but hasn't done enough to convince a PL club to bid for him, so needs to prove himself some more in the Championship.
Anyway, obviously a very disappointing season for Norwich, their attack let them down badly. Their PL flops might kick it off in the Championship, though.
