On Wednesday, 10. July 2013 at 19.30 GMT+2, Borussia Dortmund will play a pre-season friendly against FC Basel 1893 in the St. Jakob-Park in Basel.

This is a very good test match against a strong opposition, I'm really looking forward to it!

10. Juli - Testspiel beim FC Basel (19:30 Uhr)
11. Juli - Beginn Trainingslager in Bad Ragaz (Schweiz)
16. Juli - Testspiel beim FC Luzern (19:30 Uhr)
18. Juli - Ende Trainingslager in Bad Ragaz (Schweiz)
20./21. Juli - Telekom-Cup in Gladbach (20.7. gegen Bayern, 21.7. gegen HSV oder BMG)
27. Juli - Supercup in Dortmund gegen den FC Bayern (20:30 Uhr)

I hope Watzke-Zorc-Klopp do the important squad business before the team goes to Austria so Klopp can have all his 100% commited players and the new signings can learn the BVB way in peace. It's important because Klopp likes to have all the players that will play next season ready for training camp where they do the tactics/learning of a new style of play for next season.

Did you watch the Saturday match of Dortmund against the fan team lead by Oliver Pocher? That was fun, too!

The fan team actually held a 1:1 for 30 minutes, until they broke down and it ended 9:1 for Dortmund. ^^

It's worth mentioning that Klopp played with a 3 man defence with Hummels, Subotic and Kirch in the 2nd half, I found that very interesting.

Perhaps we'll see a 3 man defence with Hummels, Subotic and Sokratis till Piszczek comes back hmm

I only catched the Aubameyang and Sokratis presentation unfortunately. Smile

Next pre-season match is in two days against FC Basel, where we hopefully can see more of Dortmund's 3 man defence against a quality side.

Nice work by Dortmund holding a free stream
I'm hoping for Amini and Langerak to either start of participate throughout one of the preseason games, hopefully more games against tougher opponents.
