He's got the potential imo. Monsters don't really need to be all that good on the mic like Lesnar, Kane etc. He's improving though.

He's not the best on the mic or in the ring, but he just comes out and destroys people and has that classical look. That's what made me a fan when I first saw him.

In terms of Henry, he's almost retiring so it would have made sense for Ryback to win considering he was on a streak not long ago and was on his way to the main event.

Nah you're forgetting the key element here.


Those monster heels always had a manager who was better on the mic than almost everybody else.

Heyman is a top promoter, Paul Bearer fitted the Undertaker / Kane so well with his eerie voice and he cut some great promo's too.

And when kane is a heel btw, he's great on the Mic. Of course when he started he only spoke every now and then with that tool you hold up to your throat and use. Can't remember its name.

But nowadays he's THE jobber, and his promo's are just a load of shit. Not down to him though. Not even paul Heyman could say the shit Kane has to most weeks and make it sound good.

Ryback is a solid upper carder guy. But he has lost 9 PPVs in a row. WWE shouldn't have put him against Punk so early on.

Kane's not really had Bearer consistently as a manager. Lesnar at times didn't have Heyman either. Neither did Goldberg.

Ryback's improving though. If not he can always get a manager like Swagger or Axel did.

The monster babyface gimmick is dead, Goldberg did it so well its just impossible to surpass him at this point, at least not when his memory is still fresh. Plus ryback doesnt look like a baby face, if anything he looks like the goofy guy who discovered steroids and got big. That doesnt mean that he wasnt mismanaged by the WWE coz he was, at one point he was one of the most over guys doing nothing but smashing people and chanting feed me more, that was his game, but the WWE had to make him speak, and then turn him heel, and then have him cut live promos when he didnt need to just so Cena can maintain his top spot...yea, Ryback is as good as buried right now and it will take some really good angel to bring him back to life

To be fair to the writers, Ryback as a face was slowly and slowly becoming less cheered and even boo'd like Del Rio. It had to stop.


He has been mis-managed in the sense they wanted to make him a main eventer, but he gets burried at every PPV

He needs to stop with the heavy breathing and work on his mic skills.

Tonight's WWE RAW takes place from the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina. Confirmed for tonight's show is John Cena's response to Mark Henry and the third Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan match.

Triple H and Vince McMahon are advertised for tonight's show, as are Chris Jericho and Paul Heyman. The injured Fandango is also advertised for tonight. Two stars not advertised to appear are CM Punk and Brock Lesnar.

WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight:

* What does the future hold for CM Punk and Paul Heyman?

* Can Randy Orton prove that Daniel Bryan really is a weak link?

* What destruction does Mark Henry have planned for John Cena?

* Will Dolph Ziggler be healthy enough to address his loss?

* Will Vickie Guerrero be forced to punish The Shield?

There are currently no plans to add another member to Paul Heyman's group. According to a source close to the situation, Heyman also suggested to creative that Curtis Axel be kept separate from the CM Punk / Brock Lesnar program, realizing that Axel will likely be used as fodder.

There has been some talk about doing a Stephanie McMahon / Triple H vs. Paul Heyman / Curtis Axel mixed tag team match at SummerSlam, but some people are against Heyman being involved in the ring that night since he will be managing Lesnar against Punk at the event.

Also, the reason that WWE essentially re-shot the Punk - Heyman "let's stay friends" angle on last week's RAW, which was originally done for the App and WWE.com after Payback the night before, was because views for the video were "disappointing." The company pretty much ignored the original video and reset the story on RAW as a result.
