'Napoli and Juventus want Zaza’

Sampdoria have confirmed that both Juventus and Napoli are in the hunt for young striker Simone Zaza.

The 21-year-old caught the eye of many last season with his performances for Ascoli in Serie B, where he scored 18 goals in 26 matches.

“We need to understand the desire of the player, even if we will make the final decision,” Doria sporting director Carlo Osti told Sport Italia.

“Napoli are interested in him, as are Juventus – those are the clubs who want him the most at this point in time.”

Zaza’s contract expires in June 2014 and the Blucerchiati may be tempted to offload him this summer, rather than risk losing him on a free transfer in a years’ time.

Well whoel eu is cashing him including Man Utd so he has to be that good

I've seen him play on a couple occasions when I watch Serie B...
He reminds me of Trezeguet to be honest...
A great finish...maybe not one to run at defenders, but a Beast in the box
