What does signing Jesus Navas mean for Manchester City
I've always been a big fan of Jesus Navas when I play FIFA lol but haven't seen him play in a live match, have seen Isco play a few times, anyway what do these signings mean for Samir Nasri? Do you see David Silva still be used as a winger, or how would his role change? Would Scott Sinclair be stuck in limbo or be sold off to a lackluster EPL team?

Re: What does signing Jesus Navas mean for Manchester City
Sinclair will most likely be sold to a midtable/lower EPL side like Johnson was last year.
In terms of Navas, they'll probably lineup like:
----------------Aguero
--------Nasri---Silva---Navas
I don't think they'll sign Isco, now that they've sign Navas.

I know Isco was speculation, but since Malaga might most likely not play in Europe I figured pelle would take him up, either way I was only speculating, hate the fact Sinclair is wasting away. And above all, I think Nasri is a great player but I feel he is overrated at City, but probably will still be there if no Isco then.

Nasri will be sold or benched and i don't expect them to sign Isco now.
I'm expecting to see something like this....
I personally would look at a new LB as Clichy is meh but i don't think it will happen.

I thought Isco took himself out of the City equation once Navas was bought... Nasri, Silva, Navas, Tevez, Aguero, etc. If he's going to compete like that, he'd rather go to Madrid imo.

Wtf @ the signing of Navas, since Man C lack width though this is good, but the guy is direct competition for the NT with Silva They will have top lkearn to play together then! Man C if they looking to play width should then also get a left sided winger?

They haven't signed Fernandinho yet and i'm not convinced it will happen.
It was clearly a Mancini target, whose to say Pellegrini will want him?

Navas and Isco were also Mancini targets as well. Confirmed by Navas that he took 4 months to make a decision.
Re: What does signing Jesus Navas mean for Manchester City
dunno why Navas walks into city's eleven, they can still sign Isco and have tactical variety with navas providing width when needed.

Whose to say they haven't been talking to Pellegrini for months too lol?

Because i don't think Isco is happening and he's leagues above Nasri.

Think he signed a 4 year contract after the season ended so it probably means they are sticking with him, although someone like Coentrao would be a definite upgrade over him since his performance in the second half of the season was below average.

Bcz there is very little chance of Pellegrini controlling transfer targets of City 4 months ago lol......I will say it is almost impossible.
Fact is Isco and Navas both were CIty targets for a long time and both are not Pellegrini transfers.
Re: What does signing Jesus Navas mean for Manchester City
Been saying he's Iniesta's successor for over a year now ( although he has some key traits which sets him apart)
So yeah pretty highly

Re: What does signing Jesus Navas mean for Manchester City
makes more sense of Isco being a city target now when there new manager had him on his previous team no? I wouldn't rule out Isco because of navas signing...this is a team who bought striker after striker once upon a time just because

Re: What does signing Jesus Navas mean for Manchester City
Fun fact about Jesus Navas- he has a phobia about moving away from home, hence why he played all his life in Sevilla- from FIFA 12 the commentator said this when I played him in career mode, maybe why he played took so long to make the decision to come to city

Re: What does signing Jesus Navas mean for Manchester City
considering the guy had a grand total of 0 goals and 6 assists all year i'm gonna hazard a guess that he wasn't exactly highly sought after...

Re: What does signing Jesus Navas mean for Manchester City
Guess I'm the only one who thinks Navas will flop hard @ City (even though I rate him kinda high) because of his love of his homeland.. And seriously, England? Couldn't find a worse country than that?
It's already hard enough for him to move away, and then he chooses a country where the weather is the exact opposite of Spain and I'm totally serious on this one.
