Ok he didn't literally beg him but he might as well have done with his words.

If he wasn't considering Arsenal then he wouldn't have said any of that.

Plus Arsenal wouldn't put 40m down for a player that isn't interested in joining them.

Did we read the same interview? He smacked Suarez around like a punching bag. It was the opposite of begging, it was "sit down and shut up, we'll deal with you how we feel like it."

I didn't read the interview i watched it, he seemed quite desperate for him to stay (naturally) and seemed quite threatened by the Arsenal interest.

If they wasn't interest he wouldn't have done that, besides its been proven to be BS now so it doesn't matter either way.
