Juventus have shown interest in Saint-Etienne defender Kurt Zouma according to reports.

With the 18-year-old French defender attracting interest across Europe following a successful season for the Ligue 1 outfit, Juventus have been added to a list of top European clubs looking to sign the promising youngster.

Accorinding to Le10Sport, Juventus have now joined in the race for the signature of the u-19 French international.

In February Zouma extended his contract at the Les Verts until 2017, with the club will be looking to keep their young star in France, European football is an attraction to Zouma that a high profile club will offer.

Kurt Zouma’s agent, David Vanditelli, believes that the player would achieve more in a move away from France this summer.

Juventus will find competition for Zouma – who is currently valued at €12m – from Premier League heavyweights Liverpool, who is the preferred destination by Zouma and have also shown strong interest in the defender.

Zouma has made 17 appearances, including two goals, in Ligue 1 this season.

He's really improved this year. But he wants to play immediately... hence his interest in Liverpool. I think the Juve depth chart turns him off unless there's a promise made thay is similar to the one made to Pogba.

If he's a CB we really could use him fairly regularly.

I mean, we play 3 CB's and don't have huge depth there. At least not on the bench (We have a fair few young ones loaned out)

We would probably be better off if we could give our back 3 more resting time.
